  • dude u should put more water in the tank. and also are the baby are the parents of the adult slider?

  • whow much times is best to feeding turtle big 2 inches ?

  • I'd be careful when feeding them crickets. Especially if you caught them yourself because crickets can carry diseases that can be harmful to your turtles. Also, i tried feeding my turtle lettuce and other fruits and vegetables..he doesn't like them. ):

  • they are some healthy looking RES's :)

  • If anyone is giveing one for free i would love to have one. a baby though just send me a message thanks

  • These sliders are so pretty, too bad I can't have RES,they are illegal in Florida, I'm not even allowed to get them shipped here from a breeder, the only way I could get one is If I go to another state and bring it back here. It's ok Im happy with my yellow belly and my eastern painted.

  • I guess you feed'em into that topper in order not get a mess the outdoors setup, right? They look very healthy! Pretty turtles!

  • how do you get them to be so friendly? mine just hide in the corners, and dont eat =(

  • turtle eat those =o i got a red eared slider too

  • ew?

  • Is that there permanent home or their feeding tank? It it's there permanent, just add some more water okay?

Oh and, I'm afraid of all things insect (I love worms but I can't feed them that everyday) so how do I feed them crickets?

  • meesyer than goldfish feeding lol i like feeder fish xD

  • should i feed my baby RES dried crickets. Or crickets should only be eaten by adult RES

  • I feel bad for all the crickets that hoped up on their backs and just have to sit there and watch the carnage. "Daaaaaaaadddyyyyyy"

  • wen ur feeding thm it should b a little deeper bc turtles cant swallow on dry land thy need the water 2 help thm swallow

  • feed the wee ones

  • what that bowl thingy on the side with stuffs in it? turtle shits or some thing?

  • How many turtles do you have!?

  • You feed them just like I plan too, put them in a feeder tank then give them live food. Kudos to you :)

  • @Lightzeaka Well now TBH that's not all true. If you know you can trust the store to carry Certified feeders than its not a big deal and they have a Highly digestible from of Calcium. the issue is that some herpetologists believe that gold fish and there kin have a compound in there bodies that prevent the absorption of B1. how ever this has not been proven to be the case in R.E.S I feed My Germain A few small warm water fish here and there so she will hunt. and shes very well.

  • @Lightzeaka LAWL that comment is not for you. its for

    89vision89

LOL wow never done that before, so sorry mate pass it along.

  • Hey props onyour feeding tank but you should know if you have kept turtles this long that feeding them feedfer fish from the store is a bad idea due to parasites and poor nutritional value. your babies look nice!

  • wow you need a lot more water. that is too little water for those turtle . i feel sorry for them :(

  • it looks like a plastic ben for feeding

  • *bin

  • @sohan5544

... dose anyone else thing he might just know what he is doing?

I feed Germain in a few inches of water just enough so she has lubrication for feeding as this prevents the food from drowning and promotes hunting.

I am sure the gentlemen in question has another tank for them to live in and this is his feeding tank.

  • nice turtles 5 star

  • lol, r one of them a yellow painted turtle?

    kinda looks like it xD

  • AWW ! YOU HAVE SO MANY !

    LOL ♥

    So cute x3

  • PetSmart

  • hey you need to put enough water so they can swim around ok so for your "tank" you need to add atleast 5 or 6 inches of water

  • For those of you who think this is where they live, it's not. They are about 9 years old, the 3 large ones are. I got them since they were about quarter size. They actually live outdoors. They eat various lettuce, carrots and pet store bought food. :D They have a pond and plenty of land to walk on outside.

  • My turtle won't look the way they do if they lived in doors. Turtles that live in doors most of the time would look pale and most likely have a deformed shell... lack of sun and lack of proper nutient absorbtion.

  • @lilgoldenkoi not necessarily cause if u have a tank that has a light that puts out uva and uvb light, ur good

  • @lilgoldenkoi

i let mines out in the summer

i have a little pond for them

  • @lilgoldenkoi how did u get a little one

  • @lilgoldenkoi has any wild animal gone to the pond and ate one of them?

  • get a bigger tank or another one and seperate them

  • I actually let my turtles roam around my entire bathroom, until feeding time 3 times a day, when I eat breakfast, lunch and supper.

  • I like how they slap t here mouth when the cricket is in there mouth

  • its like a family in there lol

  • @iSkater360 a chinese one

  • Crickets climb on my turtle's back too.

  • how much should i feed my RE sliders because they are like 2 inches big. and they eat alot, so i feed them 3 sticks twice a day

  • crickets are climbing on turtles back lol

  • Turtles need a water heater and at least 20cm of water. Also a basking light would be good.

    other than that...nice...

  • i think this is just a feeding tank so that it's easier to clean.

  • you are smart but you are cheap you got a 99 cent plastic container and two bricks and you dont even have enough water to feed them water to feed them goldfish.

     but great quality turtles

  • my turtle eats fish

  • hey ill post a vid up of my red ear slider

  • i wanna feed my turtles crickets but im scared they might jump out the tank

  • My turtle eat fish food

  • I hate crickets, once I have a lizard, we feed it crickets and total for a year 50 of the crickets escape and 5,000 of them are being eating, until a few year ago, ant swarm our house at every corner (you name it, the ants are in it) and at least 100 of them bit the lizard, and a small lizard can't take so much it took its last breath

  • you should add more water next time

  • if thats their only tank you need to get a new one quick, cause i doubt thats a feeding tank, their is a basking spot

  • lol turtles rock

  • yeah i highly doubt its a feeding tank, if you look closely it even has the basking light.. i guess if he is doing water changes twice a day and the basking area is sufficiently heated they would be TEMPORARILY OKAY, needs a source of uvb

  • nvm.. just read the other comments :/

  • to all haterz: its obviously a feeding tank dumbasses. your ALL dumbfucks. congratz on being so retarded that you cant tell the dif between a feeding tank and habitat. and oh yeah, DUMBFUCKS!!!!!

  • i dont think so.. why would there be bricks in it? along with the food tray up top??

  • my turtle eats liver :)

  • Nice. I'm thinking about getting some turtles when I get out school. What are their names?

I'm totally gonna name mine after the Ninja Turtles... Yeah, it's not very original, but oh well.

  • need lots of water

  • This is the best vid ever!!!!

  • they look lethargic. get them some heat. bad set up. i hope you die. 1 star. p.s you shouldn't be allowed to own any pets

  • FUCKING IDIOT

  • hahaha brianvelasquez ur such a dumb ass its a feeding tank look in the other pages of the comments he even says that they live in a pond! so how about u die u idiot.

i rate u 5 stars on being an asshole

  • I have one currently, at one point had 12 but then I started reading up on turtle care and realized that the habitat I had for them, and the current time I could dedicate to them wasn't fair so I gave them to the local nature center...the one I have now is named Nona and she was abused and neglected by her previous owner so she is REALLLY scared of people but she's warming up to us. I have yet to buy a full habitat for her but I'm saving the money up slowly but surely.

  • dumbass

  • Lol at all the idiots who dont know anything about turtles. Its called a feeding tank...anyways...It looks like they were really enjoying those crickets! I hope mine get bigger soon. I know they can get like a foot long though. I cant wait.

  • DID u have them when they were little?

  • CAN THEY EAT CRICKETS?

  • HE SAID THEY LIVE OUTSIDE DUMBASS

  • Also, maybe you should sepperate the smallest turtle in another tank during feeding time. Then it won't get stamped on by the other turtles. The smallest turtle may also need to fight for food with the others.

  • I think you should buy a bigger tank. The tank is too small for that number of turtles.

  • If you check the other comments below, I stated that they live outside in a pond.

  • I just love where you keep your turtles. I hear that is called the box of death. Ecpecially if you're cramping in big turtles.

  • Learn to read

  • i just got muine i hope it dont grow as big as yours i have it in a 20 long

  • They got big because they live outside in a pond with plenty of food and sun :D

  • I was just kidding! Well yeah, that's kinda what I hate. It's either one or the other that has to die. =(

  • did you bought the crickets or catch them??

  • I bought them at the pet store.

  • Poor crickets. I hate violence.

  • How is that violence the turtle need to eat too!

  • ur gay

  • sk8ter904. Is the ur gay comment for me? Cause it doesn't sound like it was for me. But if it is, then you are absolutely rude!

  • I mean extremely rude.

  • ok ur not gay ur tite

  • how do u get the turtles to have such a nice shell? and what do u feed it?(instead of crickets?)

  • I feed it bok choi, dried anchovies, various types of lettuce, I don't feed them live foods anymore, three types of processed foods from the store.

  • is that the tank you always have them in?

  • No, they live outside in a small pond.
