The detectives did the best they could. They know she's 100% guilty. C'mon, any "loving parent" couldn't even Imagine not reporting their child missing immediately! On this interview all by it's self, murdered her 2 year old. I can't believe they found the Jury they did. They came to the conclusion ,we're going to give her unreasonable doubt. Caseys a murderer, the jurors let her walk and " they've proven, all of them are idiots and forever will have little Caylees blood on their hands~
I actually wish there had been this Nanny person she's describing.......she'd be alive....and Casey was right when she lied and said she took her to teach her a lesson because she was a bad Mother....talk about an understatement!!!! Bad Mother is the "ONLY" statement she made that was actually true!
Casey: "Their schedules were completely opposite of mine." SHE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A JOB!- for years! OMG! And the cops are still saying "this nanny, this nanny' crap
lmao these cops are the best!! its not a laughing matter but this is way to crazy the way she is lying like this and its never ending. she MUST have some type of mental illness
beanio12 you are so right. Make people feel sory, flirt, lie. Where does a 22 year old have the money to pay a nanny anyway? With the control freak ways of Cindy wouldn't she have met Zanny years ago.
I can't wait for the book. I hope there's a movie also. Casey is an interesting person. She is going to be set for life. I really think she should sue the State of Florida also; after all, they never had a shred of evidence against her, yet they put her through the ordeal of going to trial. Of course, that will come after she wins her appeal. She lied. but the police really messed up by not giving her a Maranda warning.
A Lesson to Young Parents: Teach your children well. Don't spoil them to the point of no return. Let's hope our youngest generation cares about others and not just about themselves. What happened in this tragic event is a mirror of what our culture has become. We need to take a few steps back to go forward.
She is INSANE. I don't care what book this bitch writes I hope nobody ever buys it. She can get a book deal but makes nothing if it don't sell. Send this bitch to a cave with her bullshit lies and sick fairytale trash. NO FINANCIAL GAIN FOR CASEY
i think she killed her child by accident and panicked. afraid of what people around her would think and what the law would do to her...so she created this story of missing child. the partying was a way for her to deal with what she did. all the same she is selfish girl and I am glad she will have to live with all this 4 life.
These detectives are just testing her now they know Casey did something or is involved in some way... they are just trying to bond with her and get more info from her remember at this point Casey is talking without an attorney of her own free will.
This poor detective towards the end starts to get excited again when Casey lies and says she sent emails to her nanny. He thinks they may be able to track the nanny down by finding her email account -what he doesn't know at this point is Casey is once again lying to him.
There's no better confirmation of this bitch's guilt than not being able to give a straight answer as to why she would lie to cops whose job is to help find missing persons.
Please reinstate the electric chair, Florida. And without the sponge. Just for her.
@hothotheat3000 Casey was proven to be innocent, and what's worse is she's spent 3 years in jail over a crime she did not commit. I would hope Casey can sue the state for compensation.
No idea why she was even in jail. It's ridiculous that a innocent person can spend so much time in jail
@eveningniteshade LOL.... No she was found (not proven) not guilty of murder by a jury of her peers. She was found GUILTY of lying to law enforcement which carries a max sentence of 1 year for each count (IE timed served). She is also responsible for the monetary value of the police effort to search for a child that was missing via her false statements. She will never see a dime from the city.
@eveningniteshade You are devoid of common sense bud. Sorry to inform you. I believe it was proven, all you have to do is throw in common sense to your verdict. Look, most cases have no DNA, no eye witnesses, no video. Murder weapons are common but not always needed. Most cases are just like this one if not weaker cases and they are commonly found guilty. This case is a tragedy because we picked 12 stupid american idiots (I am american myself) to judge it.
@Jmacisthebest7 maybe she is not innocent, it's just she's not guilty. 4 years in jail for lying to police is more than a little ridiculous. The judge was swayed by the mob mentality of the country baying for blood. Really this is a miscarriage of justice, but not in the way you think.
Nothing wrong with that jury. It's the prosecution that failed, & I hope crazy people stop making death threats against casey and the jury. She did 4 years due to a tragic accident. Let her be.
They need to just play back what she has said and let her hear just what she is saying. She Said she did not trust the nanny they jumped all over that and she said since her daughter went missing is when she stopped lol.She says she knows nothing about the nanny's roomates but leaves her child with them? I can't believe she just did not envok her rights to have a lawyer instead of just literally throwing herself to great white sharks,a whole school of them.Lies don't get 1st degree murder thou
She was caught dead on in this video. There is just no freakin doubt. ALL evidence is pointed to her to this day. She can not even fathom an excuse for her petty actions or words (not that I could see how she could any way lol she is utterly rediculous concerning her and all of her excuses and stories.)
The gas gauge isn't working?! I want her in a room alone for an hour. I don't even want to use words to express the kinds of things I would do to her for every second of that hour. It would be worth going to jail my whole life for one hour with this person. Caylee needs justice and I'm VERY willing to give it to her. She is the only woman on the planet that I would physically harm... with joy.
@BeethovenIsGod Torturing a psychopath makes you no better than a psychopath. I think Casey is absolutely guilty and is a disgusting excuse for a human being, but your statements make you appear just as much a psychopath as Casey is.
I had the privilege of meeting Detective Wells a few years ago when some criminals were harrassing a disabled girl and I was trying to help her. He is compassionate, sharp, professional and has a sense of humor as well as a HUGE heart for children and the helpless. He wanted to let the criminals see him talk to me, then leave and watch how they acted thinking he was gone. He is nobody's fool. Very effective and treats people with dignity. I cannot speak highly enough about him.
If they would have been very soft and gentle with her they would have gotten her to admit she accidently killed her child. Her personality is the kind that digs her heels in whenever she is confronted..I'm not trying to defend her at all but they could have done a better job of getting her to come clean. I don't blame the cops...just saying
No chance... She knew her child was rotting in a field with duct tape around her head. Accident? Ya guys, my daughter is rotting a 1/4 mile from my house with duct tape around her nose and mouth and it was an accident.
No chance... She knew her child was rotting in a field with duct tape around her face. Accident? Ya guys, my daughter is rotting a 1/4 mile from my house with duct tape around her nose and mouth and it was an accident.
she is stupid - they go from accusing her of murdering her daughter to trying to "help" her again and she can't even see that and continues to lie again lol
Casey says that Universal would be a familiar place to Caylee... But she hasnt worked there since 2006 - - Caylee's "memories" of Universal, if they were, would have had to be made when she was an infant?!?! Really?!?
@ 6:32 she states: "I wasn't abandoning my car" uh huh riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight you were only hoping someone would steal it then they'd get blamed for killing your baby
@ 2:46 she says "regardless of how it happened" it being killing her daughter. Cindy and George raised one cold hearted bitch...makes me wonder what Lee's trip is
Wow, when my kids were little I knew the babysitters house address, I had her phone number, I dropped by often out of the blue, but I certainly did NOT know if she owned her house or not, I didn't know that, why or how would i know that unless i bought a platte book, casey is such a stupid little liar and murderer.
Has anybody noticed that she only started sniffy like she had been crying when the detective said to her I know that you are scared I can see the tears in your eyes. Then and only then did I hear any kind of emotion outta of Casey.
when detective asks what he can do to help, she says "i don't know." her tone is final. it says "there's nothing we can do, Caylee is just gone, thanks, bye."
to all moms , if your baby was missing , could you really even keep a conversation , i would be blubbering my way thru , i could not have kept her composer , , i would be flipping out , yet she is so cool and so calm , and trying to keep it all together , with all thoses lies , , i cant understand this so called humane , . and lie to find , how aboout lie to fly , which you wont , your fry kfc style , ohhhh and dont forget to cry
so damm funny when he said i see the tears in your eyes , and the the water works come , id ike to see the video of this crap . this bitch never sounded like she was crying , and she left notes so the would not tow , and so no one would find the little baby girl in the trunk . and then this cop is so god to to make her think they beleive her again to get the pc . and this is where she says there secdules were totaly diif from hers , What!! Casey remember you did not work
you got it right on. i bet she never left any notes, and he also asks her if she sent zanny emails/can she send emails from work. she's so dupe-able. she just wants a buddy.
i would also love to see this live. omg! i would pay!
Casey, Casey, Casey....get use to living in a 6*9 space cell cause that's your home size for the rest of your life when you go to the big house prison.
@figgy709 i am not sure if she has seen the tapes , or should i say heard them , but if this was my daughte.r truly i would want the truth , not give her amo to lie some more , which is what her family has done , pooor family , they will have to take some blame in this also , as the ones who fuled the lies that will bind them forever
was the book she was reading when she called her mom found in the grave , ?? pretty sic shit this bitch is , my god if this was my baby i would be screaming , crying , falling apart , Not able to carry on a conversation full of lies this cop is good thou putting the lies back on her to get access on her pc , too funny , sorry casy your screwd ,,,,,,,,,,, i got to truly give this cop kudos for letting her think that they beleive her a bit , LOL
was the book she was reading when she called her mom found in the grave , ?? pretty sic shit this bitch is , my god if this was my baby i would be screaming , crying , falling apart , Not able to carry on a conversation full of lies
I know some people say it's a terrible interrogation, and initially I thought so too, but maybe they have to tread carefully. There's no solicitor present, so maybe they have to make sure there's nothing that can come back and bite them later. If they were aggressive in any way maybe it couldn't be used in evidence. I don't know this for fact, just guessing!!
ps. only removed below comment cos my spelling was so bad!!!
It's a shame that they told her that they could trace Zani through her computer (from 7.15 onwards), she agrees they can take the computer, but then misteriously when her brother Lee collects the computer it is suddenly wiped clean for several months ... hmmmm ...
@4:20 when she confesses to "using" her mom's credit cards & using them for materials things, she's trying to make herself look like if she does something wrong, she has sympathy for her transgressions & learns her from her mistakes. & @6:20 The det. brings up her car @ Amscott, he was asking about KC cashing any stolen chex, SHE was the one that blerted out "I wasn't ABANDONING my car"....when in fact, she was abandoning that stench of death, coffin of a vehicle.
I hate to say this .. but I feel that with all the years of experience those 2 cops have, working with all sorts of beasts, murderers + terorists that LE wasted too much time talking themselves instead of MAKING Casey answer more direct questions .. she must've been sitting there laughing at how easy it was to hold them off + run rings round them .. maybe in retrospect, since this was the last time they had her alone, not lawyered-up, they might've handled her differently ?
Boy she can come up with stories right off the top of her head. Taking about Zenaida, the pretend nanny, Casey says, "They only dated a couple of months, it was never anything serious." Pssst...(Shaking head) Wow!
I couldn't lie like that, I couldn't keep it up. Especially when she knows full well, they know she's lying and 'STILL' she keeps it up. Unbelievable...
And she has a little giggle about it when he asks her, "Is your daughter in a better place?" She's like (Giggle) no.
When did you stop trusting her? (Giggle...The moment her phone cut off.)
Grrr, this whole interview, I bet a lot of people would have wanted to smack her around this room the whole time. (Chuckle)
the saddest thing to me is the way when confronted with the way she's not making sense she will just readily agree that she lied and go along with what they're saying. I get the impression that she says things she thinks are true but knows if people say it's lies, then you must have been saying stuff that doesn't make sense again, and you just have to agree. She asks them repeatedly to look at instant messaging on her computer
did they check her ip history to see whose email potentially really had bounced back, etc, she was asking them basically to check, or did they get sidetracked with everything else I wonder. You can tell they're very smart guys and everything, don't get me wrong, I imagine they did try to find any evidence of this
but then again, I also wonder, did they research who might have lived at Andover Lakes, people by those names who could have lived there, people who had "opposite schedules to hers"-- she sounds so much like she believes some of this stuff, I really think she might have passed a poly, it's a shame she didn't take one, because that might have cast a very different light on everything. Imagine if she was an innocent but very confused person trying to find her child
I just see someone not making sense. The saddest thing to me is the way she agrees with everything they say, just answering uh-huh, uh=huh, with whatever they say. Mentally ill people can't help the fact that they don't understand the situation. There are people who suffer from confusion, regardless how intelligent they are, people can have mental illness or cognitive problems. I think a poly might have shown she was not being deceptive, I'm not sure.
Here you have 2 different cops that are very good. But her mind is set, she is not cracking down because she doesnt have any feelings so she isnt scared
@5:30 he asks her about her car running out of gas, he inquired about her possibly cashing checks, as she's already been accused of recently, SHE'S the one who says "I wasn't ABANDONING my car" she tries to DENY it, He wasn't even inquiring about abandonment, she had accidently slipped w that statement.
Stupid cops, she was starting to breakdown @ 1:30 and instead of being quiet and letting her ramble on, they never stop talking, they spoke more than she did
Casey says that she will lie and steal to get her daughter. She did all those things and more and her daughter was finally found dead in a swamp with duct tape on her mouth.
It crossed my mind while listening to this...is it at ALL possible that she is mentally ill, a pathological liar, incapable of NOT lying, and yet truthful about just ONE thing, say...about this Zenaida person even existing? I don't really believe that's very likely, but is it even POSSIBLE? I'm just trying to figure what on EARTH her defense is going to be. Seriously. How are her attorneys EVER going to come up with a believable defense for someone that lies this much?
Appie Wells is the only detective that lets her talk. Casey finally begins speaking freely when Melich and the other detective leave. Wells is the only smart detective in this interrogation!
We know now Caylee has been dead since June of 08. It is chilling to hear Casey lie about a phone call where she talked to Caylee in July. For her to actually be able to calmly talk about a conversation she had with Caylee, and the story Casey told about that call is beyond cold blooded. Casey is as guilty as sin. If an actual innocent person was going through this same interrogation they would be crying uncontrollably scared and angry over the insinuation! GUILTY!
She plays with words, she says "I went to pick my daughter up and she was gone", either she left the child somewhere, and she was gone as in wandered off or taken, OR she was gone as in dead, passed on.
Casey "I would LIE i would STEAL to find my daughter"
......Er but she has already given an infinitude of LIES (and counting) She did STEAL thousands of dollars from her parents and grandparents. She didn't waste any time STEALING Amy Huizenga's checkbook cleaning her out of A GRAND in cash in record breaking time DIRTY CUM GUZZLING SCUZZ BAG. This girl has spread herself around, and I mean AROUND to so many guys. What an unclassy gutter-slut she is
Why would anyone need to lie or steal to find a missing child? She's just trying to make an excuse for all her lying and stealing! And if my child was missing for 5 minutes, let alone 5 months, I would be hysterical talking about it. It must be exhausting to lie with every breath. What a sociopath.
How come they have never been able to find Jennifer Rosa and Raquel Farrell and they have never come forward. How come none of these people exist? How do Cindy and George put this together where it makes sense to them? What is she feeding them that we don't hear?Suddenly, Cindy thinks that Zanny is Amy or Ricardo but was Zanny at one time. Where is the Zanny at one time???Does Cindy still think this? How can anyone swallow this? The pros.thinks they don't have a strong case, I think the opposite.
kc "i would lie, steal , whatever it takes......."as i said in my statement."
she's SO "pre" covering for herself ( in her mind) knowing now that LE is a little smarter than she thought------she KNOWS they'll figure out that she stole from amy really really quick----------so she's throwing it out there 1st.
.."i would lie-------i would steal..." HOW does that help her find caylee ?
..i WISH LE had asked her to clarify those type of statements.
It's so freaky that she is saying that she's absolutely petrified as Caylee's with someone she absolutely does not trust. So petrified as clearly shown by her partying, dancing, trying to pursue being a shot girl, MySpace, texting, getting tattooed, playing house with her new b-friend, driving around in borrowed cars, getting her nails done, carwash, forgery, stealing, making excuses for the smell of death in her trunk, etc.
Right, but you notice that her money, $200.00 to be exact was in her duffle bag thingy at Tony's, not in her pocketbook. Who carries a pocketbook only to put that much money in her pocket, or another bag?
Come on Casey, come clean, you fool! It is soooo obvious she's lying, she is so transparent. Thinking/hoping/wishing they, police, are not going to check out her addresses, friends, family, pretend jobs. OMG! How could anyone even assume that? She doesn't know when to quit. Her kid was a thorn in her side, she wanted Bella Vita.
If you dropped your child off repeatedly to a babysitters house, how on earth would it be difficult to find that house? Why do't they ask?! I am amazed at the fact that there is an answer for everything even if the answer makes absolutely no sense. God will bring light to what is done in the dark.
My ONE goal is.. regardless of how it happenslike I said I dont care.I will Lie I will Steel I will do what ever I can to find my daughter.. I put that in my statement and I mean that with all of my heart. ASK her what the HECK that means Why would she have to lie and steel to find her daughter? Seriously??? What kind of a statement is that.
As soon as the detective starts talking about Casey and how hard her life is and so on, that is when we see a tiny show of emotion. You can hear it right away and then the tears come. She can only feel for herself and nobody else (friends, family, children). I would hate to know her because she must be a very manipulative person and the selfishness couldn't have been very easy to hide.
They ask her about her car running out of gas at the check cashing place. Her response..."I didn't cash a check, I WASN'T ABANDONING MY CAR..." abandoning her car was never brought up by the detectives...Something of a lie/slip of the tongue. In ALMOST every lie, there's some truth some where. Or as Spindy would say...un-truths, half-truths! A rose by any other name still has thorns that stab!
She left notes on the car, my foot. Why would anyone just abandon their car for no reason? I know her reason, decomposition. But according to her, notes, and just ran out of gas. Well, then why sit on the couch, doing whatever else she was doing with $200.00 in her bag when Cindy found it?
Right, why 2 notes, instead of a gas can? With money on her. And what kind of BF would pick your ass up and not say, "Let's get you some gas." This is the dude that she abandoned Caylee for?
no kidding------they've done video of that very parking lot since------there are NUMEROUS gas stations within mere yards of where she ditched the car.
I think the Police did make a mistake on not focussing on the car immediately. If it smelled so bad, how come they weren't all over that car, especially when driving her around after she said her daughter was missing. How come the car sat in the house, even overnight?Lee said the smell from the car was overwhelming, yet even here the Police don't mention the smell and don't seem to realize that there really even is one.Does anybody know if the Police had been near the car when there initially?
In an odd coincidence the same tow-yard that released the car earlier that day would be called again later this day to pick the car back up, and take it to the police crime lab??? Guess while Casey was with Police is when Cindy washed Casey's pants she found in the car?
I know, what I don't understand is if Cindy and George didn't like the smell in the car, George being a cop and Cindy saying she smelled dead bodies before and knowing their G-daughter was missing, why didn't they think 'someone' else killed Caylee and not touch anything and call police from the tow yard and say, "Come get this car, we're NOT touching it" to the police? (Seeing that they TRUST Casey as they claim)
I totally agree. Why does your car smell like that? Knowing her, "I ran something over" They knew she'd only say that again, I guess. And figured hell with it, we'll have forensics test it. I bet. I mean you get no where with her.
There were blocks or brick that made like steps down to where they found the remains of Caylee. You dropped her off between 9 and 1 at 8905 Suburban Dr. In the Sawgrass behind Hopespring Dr. Casey!
her voice always sounds the same since the beggining no emotion what so ever none!...let me tell you something one day i had let my 3 year old daughter get out of the grocery basket and i turned for a second and she was gone omg i was hysterical! i was screaming everywhere and crying and we finally found her on the toy aisle just playing away..casey anthony is a sick cold hearted monster with no conscious...i say life in prison make her suffer for what shes done! justice for Caylee!!
The guy she's left alone with playing "good cop" is Happy Wells. He's the one that Casey told her parents she would feel comfortable talking to. It's amazing how the second someone kisses her ass (totally got her talking, so good for him) she just talks and talks and talks. I've never seen anyone who likes to hear herself talk about herself more than Casey in my life. She is such a pathological lunatic. Can't wait until she gets what's coming to her.
It is weird she's only providing fake information but didn't get the part that she would be concerned and wanting to offer anything not just answer in reply with lies when asked.
Absolutely brilliant!!!!! Of course she left the car there hoping it would get stolen but it didn't work because god wouldn't let it happen. Imagine if the car had been stolen she would probably have gottne away with murder THEN she could have blamed it on the innocent person (well still a criminal for stealing the car) she would have let somebody else take the wrap for murder, that sums her up.
Ya, I imagine she wanted the car stolen. But how was she going to say Caylee was stolen and placed in her car, knowing her boy-toy knew the car was "out of gas?" So the crook stole her car and then found out who the daughter was and found her, stole her, killed her, placed her in the car, then in Casey's secret spot as a kid in the woods? The crook went through all that for a stolen car?
I totally agree. I bet she's thinking "If only I had just said that Caylee had benn abducted" (without all the extras she's put into the lies) she might just have been abkle to pull it off. Thank god she was stupid enough to elaborate on the lies.
I think Casey knows exactly what shes saying, she absolutely knows shes lying - I don't believe she belives her lies - her mistake is - she thinks everyone is stupid enough to believe HER.
Casey is going to deny this to the biter end, even when she is on Death Row. I honestly usually belive people are innocent until proven guilty but the fact that Casey wont admit to anything absolutely prooves her guilt.
The investigators completely changed tactics in this segment. At first, they are saying we know your lying stop lying, your only going to dig yourself in deeper.
And then, they give up and let her bury herself with more and more lies, as they pretend that they are believing her BS.
"it sucks that it ran out of gas...obviously..something is wrong with the gas guage"......cuz i'm way to sharp to overlook something like that...."wink...wink...look at my breasts...and my winning smile".........
you ignorant, self-absorbed, narcisstic, blackhearted, cold hearted, child murdering bitch........
At first I thought the only appropriate sentence would be death.....but as we all know....that takes FOREVER......
why dont they give her a lie detector? i know they cant use it in court but still, she probably said No...she's guilty as hell the cops r right if she didnt kill her (doubtful) but not reporting her missing for 31 days did put caylee in danger so either by her hands or not she IS responsible for caylee's death and she SHOULD pay the price, people wouldn't let there pets go missing that long she is disgusting friggin crazy
I know, a polygraph. Even when Cindy was wanting to call police. Casey was begging her mom not to. Didn't Casey even say, "Whatta they wanna talk to me for?" Then she, Casey gets on the phone like, "Hellloooo" How about, "OMG! I can't find my daughter, help me! Screaming...She wanted to be any where, but at her mothers on the phone to 911. OMG! Unbelievable to say the least.
Lying about Zanny's bedroom in a bldg would help how? Then she has no answer & whines 'I don't know what to do anymore..." b/c there is no excuse for that particular lie. Stealing 2 buy things, 'whether for myself or 2 take Caylee shopping'...Uh-huh. Then took her awhile to remember if 'running out of gas' was before or after Caylee was missing. Not convincing. & how would she know if a house was in Zanny's name or not but not know the address, phone #..where is she getting that location from?
These tapes are powertul stuff. They clearly show she invented this Zenaida and the other characters in her story. They also show that even atter being exposed as a liar extrordinaiare, she continues to lie. She tells the guy playing good cop that she went to College.(Valencia) Lying comes so natrually to her. Its pathological and relentless. They also show how unemotional she was about Caylee.
She definitely works hard at manipulating the detective that stays in the room with her. And if im not mistaken she tells her mom she would talk with that same detective...happie wells?? He is a lot more clever than casey realizes I think.
Actually, them asking Casey if her daughter was in a better place is a way to trap her. Commonly, mothers who murder their children convince themselves that their children are in "better places".
The scary thing is, not only IS Casey a pathological liar, she actually believes that what she says is real.
Pure drama: compelling - from beginning to end. She's truly a manipulative person - trying to distract the officers at every turn; still - they manage to see right through her.
I would love to introduce her to Joran Van Der Sloot.

She lied. but the police really messed up by not giving her a Maranda warning.

i think she killed her child by accident and panicked. afraid of what people around her would think and what the law would do to her...so she created this story of missing child. the partying was a way for her to deal with what she did. all the same she is selfish girl and I am glad she will have to live with all this 4 life.

@hothotheat3000 Casey was proven to be innocent, and what's worse is she's spent 3 years in jail over a crime she did not commit. I would hope Casey can sue the state for compensation.
No idea why she was even in jail. It's ridiculous that a innocent person can spend so much time in jail
eveningniteshade 8 months ago
@eveningniteshade LOL.... No she was found (not proven) not guilty of murder by a jury of her peers. She was found GUILTY of lying to law enforcement which carries a max sentence of 1 year for each count (IE timed served). She is also responsible for the monetary value of the police effort to search for a child that was missing via her false statements. She will never see a dime from the city.
JohnnyMidknight 8 months ago
@eveningniteshade she wasn't proven innocent you fucking idiot, she was proven 'not guilty'..because there wasn't enough "evidence" to convict her.
mzxitaliana 8 months ago 2
@eveningniteshade You are devoid of common sense bud. Sorry to inform you. I believe it was proven, all you have to do is throw in common sense to your verdict. Look, most cases have no DNA, no eye witnesses, no video. Murder weapons are common but not always needed. Most cases are just like this one if not weaker cases and they are commonly found guilty. This case is a tragedy because we picked 12 stupid american idiots (I am american myself) to judge it.
Jmacisthebest7 7 months ago
@Jmacisthebest7 maybe she is not innocent, it's just she's not guilty. 4 years in jail for lying to police is more than a little ridiculous. The judge was swayed by the mob mentality of the country baying for blood. Really this is a miscarriage of justice, but not in the way you think.
Nothing wrong with that jury. It's the prosecution that failed, & I hope crazy people stop making death threats against casey and the jury. She did 4 years due to a tragic accident. Let her be.

CA: "It's Not."
DETECTIVE: "Then why would you do it?"
CA: "I don't know what else to do anymore! If I knew where she was........"
Right there, the detective should've said, "Wait, you're not answering the question! Tell us WHY you lied about the bedroom!"
It's like if she wants to change the subject, not answer the questions they ask, & totally go in another direction, they allow her to. UGGHHHH!

The gas gauge isn't working?! I want her in a room alone for an hour. I don't even want to use words to express the kinds of things I would do to her for every second of that hour. It would be worth going to jail my whole life for one hour with this person. Caylee needs justice and I'm VERY willing to give it to her. She is the only woman on the planet that I would physically harm... with joy.

I hate to say this .. but I feel that with all the years of experience those 2 cops have, working with all sorts of beasts, murderers + terorists that LE wasted too much time talking themselves instead of MAKING Casey answer more direct questions .. she must've been sitting there laughing at how easy it was to hold them off + run rings round them .. maybe in retrospect, since this was the last time they had her alone, not lawyered-up, they might've handled her differently ?

the saddest thing to me is the way when confronted with the way she's not making sense she will just readily agree that she lied and go along with what they're saying. urthcreature 1 year ago
but then again, I also wonder, did they research who might have lived at Andover Lakes, people by those names who could have lived there, people who had "opposite schedules to hers"-- she sounds so much like she believes some of this stuff, I really think she might have passed a poly, it's a shame she didn't take one, because that might have cast a very different light on everything. Imagine if she was an innocent but very confused person trying to find her child
urthcreature 1 year ago
I just see someone not making sense. The saddest thing to me is the way she agrees with everything they say, just answering uh-huh, uh=huh, with whatever they say. Mentally ill people can't help the fact that they don't understand the situation. There are people who suffer from confusion, regardless how intelligent they are, people can have mental illness or cognitive problems. I think a poly might have shown she was not being deceptive, I'm not sure.

I think the Police did make a mistake on not focussing on the car immediately. If it smelled so bad, how come they weren't all over that car, especially when driving her around after she said her daughter was missing. How come the car sat in the house, even overnight?Lee said the smell from the car was overwhelming, yet even here the Police don't mention the smell and don't seem to realize that there really even is one.Does anybody know if the Police had been near the car when there initially?
alspeth1 2 years ago

exactly------cindy's 911 call stated clearly......" it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car"!
i'm shocked that they didn't send officers over IMMEDIATLEY to pick up "the damn car".! to check it out.
erlada 2 years ago
In an odd coincidence the same tow-yard that released the car earlier that day would be called again later this day to pick the car back up, and take it to the police crime lab??? Guess while Casey was with Police is when Cindy washed Casey's pants she found in the car?
RandiSierra 2 years ago
I know, what I don't understand is if Cindy and George didn't like the smell in the car, George being a cop and Cindy saying she smelled dead bodies before and knowing their G-daughter was missing, why didn't they think 'someone' else killed Caylee and not touch anything and call police from the tow yard and say, "Come get this car, we're NOT touching it" to the police? (Seeing that they TRUST Casey as they claim)
Pegbur 2 years ago
I totally agree. Why does your car smell like that? Knowing her, "I ran something over" They knew she'd only say that again, I guess. And figured hell with it, we'll have forensics test it. I bet. I mean you get no where with her.

i would have asked her---ok,we now know you didn't have a job----where did you get "your own money" from?
a "little" of cindy's money-----define 'little'..
the state has SO much to work with -----going to be an interesting trial that's for certain.

irishamrep 2 years ago 12
Shes petrified of the lethal injection shes going to be receiving. I think she wasnt thinking about that needle at the time!

There were blocks or brick that made like steps down to where they found the remains of Caylee. You dropped her off between 9 and 1 at 8905 Suburban Dr. In the Sawgrass behind Hopespring Dr. Casey!
KIM9438 2 years ago 3
her voice always sounds the same since the beggining no emotion what so ever none!...let me tell you something one day i had let my 3 year old daughter get out of the grocery basket and i turned for a second and she was gone omg i was hysterical! i was screaming everywhere and crying and we finally found her on the toy aisle just playing away..casey anthony is a sick cold hearted monster with no conscious...i say life in prison make her suffer for what shes done! justice for Caylee!!

@camieclaire06 so true , most moms would have had more emotion , this monster has none , but death should become her ,

UESwifey 2 years ago 4
It is weird she's only providing fake information but didn't get the part that she would be concerned and wanting to offer anything not just answer in reply with lies when asked.
RandiSierra 2 years ago
I know, she talks and talks and says nothing.
Pegbur 2 years ago
Absolutely brilliant!!!!! Of course she left the car there hoping it would get stolen but it didn't work because god wouldn't let it happen. Imagine if the car had been stolen she would probably have gottne away with murder THEN she could have blamed it on the innocent person (well still a criminal for stealing the car) she would have let somebody else take the wrap for murder, that sums her up.
karenmorland 2 years ago
Ya, I imagine she wanted the car stolen. But how was she going to say Caylee was stolen and placed in her car, knowing her boy-toy knew the car was "out of gas?" So the crook stole her car and then found out who the daughter was and found her, stole her, killed her, placed her in the car, then in Casey's secret spot as a kid in the woods? The crook went through all that for a stolen car?
Pegbur 2 years ago
I totally agree. I bet she's thinking "If only I had just said that Caylee had benn abducted" (without all the extras she's put into the lies) she might just have been abkle to pull it off. Thank god she was stupid enough to elaborate on the lies.
thesoapmaker1 2 years ago
Yeah thieves wouldn't even want that car it smelled so bad.
RandiSierra 2 years ago
I think Casey knows exactly what shes saying, she absolutely knows shes lying - I don't believe she belives her lies - her mistake is - she thinks everyone is stupid enough to believe HER.
karenmorland 2 years ago 3
Casey is going to deny this to the biter end, even when she is on Death Row. I honestly usually belive people are innocent until proven guilty but the fact that Casey wont admit to anything absolutely prooves her guilt.
karenmorland 2 years ago 3
The investigators completely changed tactics in this segment. At first, they are saying we know your lying stop lying, your only going to dig yourself in deeper.
And then, they give up and let her bury herself with more and more lies, as they pretend that they are believing her BS.
This is priceless!

Have you noticed that a lot of the name she comes up with are similar to famous people?

"i ran out of gas.......obviously there's something wrong with my gas guage".....cuz it would/could never be my fault!
you can even ask my Mom!

Prison for life. She should adjust well.
zenrogue48 2 years ago 3
why dont they give her a lie detector? i know they cant use it in court but still, she probably said No...she's guilty as hell the cops r right if she didnt kill her (doubtful) but not reporting her missing for 31 days did put caylee in danger so either by her hands or not she IS responsible for caylee's death and she SHOULD pay the price, people wouldn't let there pets go missing that long she is disgusting friggin crazy
whitelight6970 2 years ago 2

ADenny12 2 years ago 3
These tapes are powertul stuff. They clearly show she invented this Zenaida and the other characters in her story. They also show that even atter being exposed as a liar extrordinaiare, she continues to lie. She tells the guy playing good cop that she went to College.(Valencia) Lying comes so natrually to her. Its pathological and relentless. They also show how unemotional she was about Caylee.
hollybrook252 2 years ago 5
Look up "Pathological Liar" it defines Casey exactly. Reading that defenition is like reading a biography about Casey. lol
When I read it I couldn't believe how Casey fit that defenition to a tee.
Fogslifted 2 years ago 2
She definitely works hard at manipulating the detective that stays in the room with her. And if im not mistaken she tells her mom she would talk with that same detective...happie wells?? He is a lot more clever than casey realizes I think.
macaddict1975 2 years ago 5
good god. It is amazing how bad her story just spins outta control. Hard to listen too.

"Is your daughter in a better place?" Casey said, "No she's not." Casey knows that the kid is dead.
swebb1989 2 years ago 4
Actually, them asking Casey if her daughter was in a better place is a way to trap her. Commonly, mothers who murder their children convince themselves that their children are in "better places".
The scary thing is, not only IS Casey a pathological liar, she actually believes that what she says is real.

Pure drama: compelling - from beginning to end. She's truly a manipulative person - trying to distract the officers at every turn; still - they manage to see right through her.
