great music, but the talk of ganja on here is dissapointing. cures depression?! causes it more like, fucks your body up, just be pure and let the music get you high :)
I laugh when people try showing me their "new", "dirty" and "popular" dubstep. I ask them where the dubstep came from. They don't know. They guess. "2007?". WRONG. Their dubstep is not new, its just using previous techniques already set in DUB & 2-Step Garage. It's not dirty, it's obnoxious. And it's only popular cuz it was manufactured, marketed and sold. Dubstep no longer sticks to the true roots. MAD PROFESSOR WAS THE MAIN MAN. THE WAY IS GANJA AND MAD PROFESSOR. IN MAD PROFESSOR WE TRUST.
DEPRESSION IS CAUSED BY THE PAIN OF THE WORLD, JAH IS THE ANSWER, DUB/REGGAE IS ABOUT TRUTH, NOT GETTING HIGH. GET WITH IT! IT'S IN YOU! ON CONTRARY, GANJA CAN ONLY AID THE FIGHT AGAINST WESTERN ILLUSIONARY THOUGHT! BE ONE WITH EARTH, ONE LOVE ,ONE GOD, ONE TRUTH. KEEP THE TRUTH BURNING THROUGH THE SOUL AND SPIRIT OF THE MUSIC
WOW.....it used to be about the music for fucks sake. Anyone who got tied up in the weed debate here is a fuckwit. You came here to hear some dub? Then fucking stop talking about buds and comment on the track. Me? I think thats some mean dub.
Even when people want to argue that kaneh bosm is not cannabis and the word qanna bosm means calamus we are still talking about the use of hallucinogenic featured in the Bible with no condemnation or punishment. If you use herbs properly, how can you be cast aside as immoral? If I want to smoke herb to relax with my mates or to aid creativity or to read the Bible, at what stage am I thrown in the same boat as a sinner?
Hey everybody! Mad Professor will perform live dub to dubstep show at KOKO on 19th June 2010 along Trojan Sound System, Channel One Sound System and more. Check WeGotTickets(dot)com for cheap early bird tickets.

Weed, if nothing else, treats depression successfully and with less side effects than the western prescription ones. Just bake it into something and worry not about lung damage.
@nickshel it does different things in the brain, stimulant and depressant; it's a mix of cannabinoids. i learned important lessons from weed but after that it got boring. different strokes for different folks, i guess. ever read "doors of perception" by aldous huxley?
@valeo626 Well call it a stimulant if you will but scientifically and factually its depressant. Of course I myself smoke it, so I'm not saying it in a negative manner. I've never actually read Doors of Perception but I know what it's about and have been told alot about it. Why?
Whatever it is technically considered, it still works for myself as a treatment for pain and depression. Everyone has slightly different biochemistry, and I've been diagnosed with bipolar so there's your explanation.
@BrnWitGrn That's interesting (no to sound cold), but my friend got diagnosed with biopolar and he associated weed with his depression. He said to me that on he weed he felt like he was on top of the world but next day with the come-down/numbness/lack of dopamine he felt like he had no more happy chemicals left and so could not help being depressed. But as you say everyone has a different biochemistry and also a different physcological structure/thought process.
Plus, sativa strains have different effects than indica strains. Sativa, which thrive in equatorial regions, are definately uppers. Indica, found in colder areas, are the opposite and make you sleepy halfway through. Most strains nowadays are hybrids of both.
MAOIs, SSRIs, and TCAs ALL carry serious side effects, including COMA and SUDDEN DEATH. Lesser side effects include suicidal thoughts (AMPLIFIED by these western synthetics.) If you don't know what these types of medicines are used for you can look them up yourself. My best friend fell into coma and nearly died using MAOIs. Four others I knew fell into coma but weren't as bad off. This negates the pharmaceutical companies' statement of "In a very small number of users."
As for prescription painkillers, cardiac arrest, accidental overdose, and coma are the norm of long term use. I have a permanent collarbone injury that gives me aches and pains daily...I'm not gonna take the western alternative and succumb to the dangers.
Smoking ANYTHING causes lung damage, so I cook it into oil and eat it in baked goods most of the time.
@carthagepropaganda Agree- i work in mental health- Weed is awesome for many reasons, but if you're prone to depression, it's the last thing you want to be doing. Interestingly, LSD and Ecstasy are pretty good for depression... but LSD hangs around your system for life, and E is pure toxic.
@BrnWitGrn myea .. the things that you say arent very smart: i totally agree it brings peace to our minds ..
but smoke this hydro indoor chronic of today and the chance is big you will freak out when you arent used smoking this flavours/quality or haven't smoked for days.
it will give such a different high/taste that you probably think you r going to die of paranoia attacks :) LOL
@BrnWitGrn the depression thing .. not agree ! in many cases its the fucking cause of depression itself
you smoke that hydro indoor chronic ( haze, amnesia, kush,) all day and every day you will probably go nuts and will be depressed. Also if you want to continue smoking ? you will need EVERY day this quality otherwise it isnt the same and you wont get high/stoned
i agree they give medication for depression too soon and they better first find the cause of depression before writing prescriptions.

Hi!
Some months ago i started doing some dub music; i really like this music genre, and my favourites artists are Scientist and Prince Jammy.
Yesterday i've finally complete my first album, called "Dub The Nation", and it is available at my youtube channel
I hope you'll enjoy the album, and you'll leave your thoughts
Cheers, Lyonhard

@nickshel feeling up one day then down the next is what bipolar is he'd feel that wether he smoked weed or not because thats the condition
Zack10063 8 months ago
@Zack10063 no shit. But with the aritificial highs and lows of weed the bipolar gets taken to new extremes.
