  • hey does jay ever dyno FWD's? i have a friend that just wants to see what his sentra se-r spec v is making with bolt ons and a 100 shot

  • Did you guys see the Jugs on that cougar!!??....MY GOD!!

  • @AdamRanda they were beasts themselves! :D

  • does anyone have an idea of what a 2001 impreza wrx st1's time would be? im looking to get one.

  • 13.6-8

  • what actually happened at 1:49 for that to happen. i need to learn more about this stuff. PM me if youre interested in answering a few drag racing questions

  • its AWD so you either have to feather it off the line or if you have enough power you launch it hard off the line by dropping the clutch. he was dropping the cluch, by dropping the clutch it puts alot of pressure on the AWD system and drivetrain, so when you drop the clutch like he did, your hoping to spin all 4 wheels so the pressure is transfered from the AWD drivetrain to the tyres spinning...

  • but at 1:49 he dropped the clutch too slow and the pressure was put onto the AWD drivetrain, he was lucky not to break it..

  • when you say "drop the clutch" does that mean you are just letting go of the clutch as quickly as possible? isnt that the fastest way to take off but also wears down the clutch quicker? i also noticed some ppl actually shift into first as soon as they launch. is that to save the clutch from being used excessively?

  • yes as quickly as possible, what do you mean by people actually shift into first as soon as they launch?....they are in first when they launch..

  • ok well now i know lol. well what i meant was like staying in neutral and revving until take off then switching into first so youre not "riding the clutch". i dont know if i used that term correctly. i just thought of it as a method to preserve th clutch and not use it as much but then i sacrifices time if racing.

  • Nope, that's only in Fast and Furious. They don't do that in real life! =)

  • oh really? lol. ok well i guess now i know

  • riding the clutch doesnt do anything to the clutch...just kills the throwout beating

  • What kind of tires were you on?

  • BFG KDW2's 225/45/17

  • Kool. I thought I saw you breaking loose coming off the line, so I was curious.

  • chapmanmerchant??

read my post again! I was Quoting someone else. I have a subie man and I would never bash my wrx.

  • Tipdale your full of shit. When you build a suby right there deadly. Im running 435 whp and 378 torque. Its my every day driver and put many evos to rest. Dont get me started on the Dead v8s. learn somthing about what your talking about. An im only running 22 pounds of boost. and yes i built up the motor.

  • is that an garret aps tsr70 turbo

  • Subarus dont do well for their mods its common knowledge.

wtf! Are you talking about knocking down drag time or are you talking in general performance? cuz actually mods do quite well in the area of turbo spooling faster and better handling and braking. YOU know Real RACING . Not just redneck drag racing. STrap a superchager on my v8 and im gonna need a parachute to stop and a pit crew to help me turn this baby around.

  • shut that V8 up in the backround lol i cant hear the subie

  • So your saying if you jacked up the boost it would go faster? What do you mean another 125whp?

  • I love the STIs, but its only a second faster than stock with a built motor and aftermarket turbo? Damn, this makes me want to just get a 03 Cobra and put a pulley and exhaust on it and show that thing up!

  • lol, the car has another 125whp in it the way it sits.

  • @ckyguy68 It also said it weights 3605 LBS (probably with the driver) stock 06/07 STI's are like 3270 LBS. So that's a good 335 pound difference. Every 100 pounds is said to be a 10th of a second on a quarter mile.

  • FUCK EVOs. Aint no different from a piece of shit dsm. Besides wrx weak tranny issues (STIs dont have this problem) subaru makes a whole better car and Im not just saying that because I Own one. I dont hate Evos, but I be damned if I regret buying the car I drive. Evos can take Ls too, ive seen it plenty of times, and ive done it too.

  • should have gotten an evo

    lawl

  • Hah, Cougars FTW!

    Err, wait, Subies FTW also!

  • Subarus dont do well for their mods its common knowledge.

  • shut the fuck up

  • Almost as fast as a bolt on IX, good job trev. Lol congrats dude, Im still waiting for tens.

  • Haha, thanks buddy. I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AN EVO! =P

  • wow, I could be asleep and have better reaction times than that!

  • should've got an evo

    jk nice sti

  • slow as fuck!

  • Im proud of you Trev!

  • That old chick had a huge rack.

    And Trevor, I <3 WRX STi's

  • Cougar alert!!

  • We already know son.

  • cools keep doing some track runs work on ur driving skill level and u could get that car quicker
