I'm not sure when the best time to go swimming in Devils pools is, simple google search im sure and you can find that. You normally do everything of that nature from the Zambia side.

I'm planning a trip to Africa and I definitely want to do this! Isn't it scary when you stand there looking down? O and is the bridge in Zambia or Zimbabwe?

standing there... ummm, yes and no. your body just focuses on whats important i think, looking down isnt priority. So yes the whole experience is a bit scary.

when the count down hit "Bungee!" i just went for it... so nah i didnt think about backing out, you cant really do that.
also when they are suiting you up they ask if you might need help jumping or not. Give ya a push ya know?
hi umm im going to africa for july 2009 as a school trip and we are going to be doing this jump if we want and i was wandering before you got strapped up did u have any regrets or was you like panicing not to go on cuz of the hight lol cuz im not sure if i can do it but i really want to jump it plus i was wandering what did it feel like when u were falling and when you came back after the jump cuz im not sure if i shud do it
the jump was amazing... very scary but all in all - worth it. it happens very fast, the jump the free fall, everything. before you know it you already feel the cord and ur on ur way back up.
The best part of the jump is the first second or 2. Just like skydiving your soaring downward and its very quiet b/c your body shuts off all the things it dosnt think it needs at the time. ya sure u can hear, but it wasnt a priority for me haha.
I would say do it. Live with no regrets and have some fun!
May of 2008 I went to this very same jump. I have no regrets at all! All i can say is, if you go dont jump pencil style with your feet down. Just dive like you would into a pool. It was the most amazing moment of my life. So if you get the chance, do it! Its just like free fall on a roller coaster. and then after that you can really enjoy looking at hte scenery as you bounce around! Good Luck!
do it, trust me... do the jump - you will be happy once you do it. Ummm, I dont think I had any problems with the panic, but I wasnt like totally worried or anything maybe just a little nervous but thats normal!!!!
the free fall feels like the world stopped. No joke it gets quite and still and you are the only person alive. The way back up was just as fun, make sure if you are going to try and yell to your friends - do it on your 2nd trip up. cause the first one is under the bridge.
Thanks for watching, and I saw yours and was very cool, the backwards dive (If that was you). Was that the video package thing from the different angles? I really wish they had that working the day I jumped... To bad you didn't hold still with the iron cross or swallow dive like myself... it was my first time too!
