  • Once in a while, a group comes along and pushes the everyday stuff off the table and shines as a light in a dreary world where have been sentenced to radio play crap that sounds the same and each artist says the same thing in every song about cars, money, or other material things. J Davey, you guys epitomize the very tenets of music by your creativity, flow and presentation that caught my attention the first time I heard it...! Keep it movin!!! I'll be listening!!!

  • Light years ahead of the rest!...

  • Awh BLACK Music baby its a beautiful thang!!!!

  • Hey Jack ,I really Dig how you and Brooke Git Bizzy ... myo hipped me to ya'll 3 yrs ago and you've been in my deck and I can't take ya'll out.. it's too dope, so fresh seen the show... too dope! J'DAVEYS time is RT.NOW!! the world is ready and you will be victorious!! My name is Tony Dickk aka T.Dickk aka Dickky Tone. U guys r tha Future... SURF MUSIIICCCC!!.. Fini.

  • awesome!

  • I'm waiting for part 2 of the Jdavey saga when the music goes further....pushing the envelope a little more will help this group with the right fusion and track selection to put on an album from their current productions...it will be interesting where they go next

  • yo any1 got a track title to the song playing? shieyt is freshshhhhhhhhh.

  • The title of the song is "eveybody touch" its off their first official album, The beauty in distortion/The land of the lost. Its a double album release, Every song on that album is fire. I suggest you get it, you can order online or through any retail store. By the way, they do have another album hopefully coming later this year, under warner bros record label, look for it.

Have a nice day, and enjoy the J*Davey experience.

  • Crazy hot post!!!!!!!!

  • You guys really need to get uot of your contract with Warner Bro. Everybody in the bussiness knows that WB has not been able to get a handle on music going on a decade or more now. It's not the people as so much as the Warner system that they refuse to change that is the problem. Your manager should know better. I know your manager and I know he knows better. Hurry up your copy cats are catching up! Sometimes you have to go outside of you label to get things started. Hit me for more info.

  • Yep.

  • I saw them for the first time, May 06 at Radio City with The Roots. I've been a big fan ever since.

  • i love their style and music, i hope they release lp soon

  • take a good look people... this is the future!

These two are truly on to something..

  • cool tune, but, honestly, what have they achieved so far? do they even have an EP out?

  • I so need this jam as my ring tone! J*Davey is the hot! So loving them please get that album out soon.

  • apologist.. yea, and nooses aren't anything of relevance to black americans. come on, give me a break. don't apologise for them. call a spade a spade. it's not ok just because they make music you like. and furthermore, if you knew me, you would know i am against all that punk shit with the braves and whatnot.

  • oh, word? You comparing a headress to a noose now? cluttered logic much? Whether they make music I like or not is irrelevant. I mean, you like it do...or did someone tell you J*Davey was rockin a headdress on stage. C'mon, dukes. 'If you knew me'...noone on here knows each other like that...these are all random connections for the most part. If you knew Miss Jack Davey, maybe you'd know why she rocked a headress...right? start there. cuz if 'if' was a spliff we'd all be high.

  • listen, our actions speak for themselves. would you like people walking around in blackface, or wearing sombrero and saying, "yo quiero taco bell!" i wouldn't. this isn't respectful in any society, let alone a multicultural one. forget about whether you like to sleep with her. be real, think straight homie. don't daydream.

  • you'd*. it's to say, come with "real talk". just because she can sing and shimmy like you like it, does not mean they are above morality. this is all representative of decadent and modern society. worship celebrities.

  • HOT!! MORE PLEASE!! THANK YOU!!

  • Love J*Davey baby!!!

  • shes skinny as hell!!! the music is amazing though

  • J*Davey you are the truth. Thank you so much, I love your style on stage and the very eclectic sound of your voice and your music. You guys are really what we all needed after 10 years of the corporate fast food music we have been feed.

  • so in love with brook d...

  • i saw the clip. it's wack to go parading on stage with no clothes on and native american headdress. i am pretty sure native americans are down with celebrating their culture that way, if genocide wasn't bad enough.

  • Wow, really?! and who are you the "poly correctness" of culture wear? Do you also rep 4 "The Trash Indian and Smokey the Bear" too? I got one question 4 ya. Do you know any indians? know where I can find any indians? Then SHUT UP !!

  • I am Native you ignorant buffoon. Jock if you like, & accept bigotry. I don't rock that shit. Get your ass in a library and read a book: Zinn's People's History of the US. Note: the indigineity of Mexicans is continually denied by the U.S. Sorry to inform you, but they are also Native Americans too. It's convenient to act like all the Natives have been killed. Imagine being Native and seeing some chickenhead rock that, making a joke of your culture. Shame on you.

  • The headdress vs. culture mockery are separate issues. The headdress has nothing more to do with you and your culture, than if one of the Beastie Boys was rockin' a dashiki on stage. Stop looking for an excuse to be offended. Holla at the Atlanta Braves or Major League Baseball. You got bigger fish 2 fry, young.

  • Word? Is that what Native Americans are thinking about right now? JackDavey's COSTUME, is really in the TOP 5 of the Most Damaging Things to Native Amerian Culture? Not casino taxation*alcoholism*teen suicide*illiteracy*domestic violence (just THOSE right there are tearing a whole in y'all collective asses RIGHT NOW) and you beefing about a COSTUME?! So, what do you do on Halloween, cruise around looking for white kids dressed as Indians ad yell out, "MURDERER!!" ?

  • apologist.. yea, and nooses aren't anything of relevance to black americans. come on, give me a break. don't apologise for them. call a spade a spade. it's not ok just because they make music you like. and furthermore, if you knew me, you would know i am against all that punk shit with the braves and whatnot.

  • did you know that my cousin is of cherokee descent? our great grandparents were both damn near full blood native american. just wanted to let you know that she's merely representing her culture and she's not just some "chickenhead" bigot with a feather headdress on simply because it's a cool costume to wear onstage.

  • your supposed authenticity doesn't count for authority. it'd be like cosby saying he's black thus can wage ad hominem attacks on poor blacks. many native americans on reservations, i doubt, would appreciate this disrespect to their culture. and yea man, sorry, a queen doesn't dress like that. you can wear the cape and wife one, but you can't turn her into a housewife.

  • you've obviously got nothing better to worry about than what someone wears on stage. why don't you get off the computer and go fight for native american land to be returned to the tribes? or reparations for black americans? next thing you know you're gonna say jay kay from jamiroquai is a racist for rockin' the head-dress on stage. i disagree with exploitation like any sane person but this is not even an issue here. peace.

  • This shows the era of anti-intellectualism we live in. You don't even know what I do, and I do not have to defend myself against your 'ad hominem' (look it up) attacks. Accept reality and stop jocking celebrities. Whether someone intends to be racist or bigoted or not, they can be. And it is important to point it out. It's important if we want to build a just society, free of such anti-social nonsense. Have some respect. Respect yourself. No justice, no peace. Word to Brotha KAM.

  • anti intellectualism?v i graduated from stanford two years ago. i'm the definition of an intellectual. what have you done? i'm incensed that my opinion automatically makes me stupid. ignorant prick, you never know who you're talking to over the internet. the only person lacking respect here is you. as richard pryor would say, have a coke and a smile and shut the fuck up.

  • are you trying to humour me? "definition of an intellectual". i am sorry mr. edward said. who exactly are you? am i beneath you because i graduated from university of california? am i? sorry son, i graduated from a public. you must be beyond reproach with your stanford degree, exempt having to provide arguments you can substantiate? ha. let me break it down for you: the truth is not a popularity contest, and you are an idiot for supporting ignorance.

  • you are the winner of one free smallpox blanket.

that was immature. oh well, i'm done with you my man. good luck being angry at everything.

  • "you are the winner of one free smallpox blanket." you are rubbish, man. you make fun of the genocide of native americans. pm me your name, number, and your address, and i would have no problem finding you and dealing with you, esp if you're in the bay area.

  • are you trying to humour me? • You tripping, dude. Maybe she doesn't realize that the headdress is not to be worn outside of the required context.

She looks good, dammit, and that's the point. You will have a hard time convincing me that she was rocking the headdress in a spirit of mockery. There are real issues out there, you know, to deal with home skillet.

  • I mean, damn, you might as well get on her case for wearing a mohawk too. Silly shit, my dude.

  • failasuf has got his head so far up his ass... i am for equality, peace, and unity but people like him are just such cunts about it. nitpicking simply leads to diminished intra-cultural cohesion.

for all we know, she could have native american ancestry. who cares if she's wearing a head dress? i'm half east indian and half black, i wouldn't care if she was wearing a puthu (red dot) on her forehead or a fuckin' pelle pelle sweater. she should be free to express herself.

  • J*DaveY baby!!!

  • yall rok!

  • take over the world, please.
