I tore my acl & meniscus recently, I didn't even know that the injury was so serious, but to hear that shawn johnson suffered the same injury has encouraged me to make an effort in returning to sports even though I have this doubt in my knee now

I have a question about coaching, if you dont mind. If you werent involved in gymnastics, but you followed it and always wanted too do it, it just wasn't a possibility at the time, would you still be able to coach gymnastics? Im not talking Olympic-class gymnasts, but maybe helping out the lower level gymnasts, offering advice and helping them with their skills. Would that be possible, even if you taught yourself the skill that you do know and werent involved in a gymnastics class?

I just watched video of Shawn training on 10/1/2010. She looks like Shawn Johnson the girl who won an AA championship in 2007 and 2008 Olympic medalist. She is no doubt back and looks great. The old guns, Nastia, Shawn , and Alicia will have considerable input into the makeup of the London Team. Go Shawn Johnson!!!

@coachgeo butttt cheer is my life. You couldn't pay me to do anything else. I don't have "gymnastics efforts" I've always been a cheerleader and a tumbler. I'm kind of insulted by your comment. It's definately not your place to tell me what I do isn't good enough for you. I'm using my talent in the best way possible for me. Thanks.

@AshleyakaFlipper cheer is where it is at!! I was a college cheerleader. I did two years in high school and one and a half in college. I loved it, but I had to give it up because it was to much time and injuries. :( Keep on cheering!!
