  • daaah nah ninini naah nah ninini.....

  • well Neil peart can settle for one of the best I came to hear the best drummer John Bonham get This is Led zeps channel gtfo

  • Stoner song!

  • opinions opinions

  • Why are people talking about 'The Hobbit' on a Zeppelin video?

  • @BigJake9989 Because plants lyrics were inspired by welsh mythology and the guy who wrote the lord of the rings and the hobbit n shit.

  • @BigJake9989 This music is inspired by the book

  • @BigJake9989 you are obviously not an actual led zeppelin fan, so you do not have the right to say "zeppelin" you must say the full band name if you are unaware of the connection to middle earth

  • @jhoch5 Just because I'm not aware of the connection between this and the hobbit does not make me a proper fan. A real Zeppelin fan wouldn't be so childish and make a stupid comment like that. Good day to you sir.

  • @BigJake9989 no you are definitely wrong, you are not a real fan of the band if you don't know anything about them

  • @jhoch5 Your obviously 13 years old, I just went onto your page and you look at nothing but super mario brothers. Enough said.

  • @BigJake9989 Um, people are talking about The Hobbit on a Zeppelin video because the Misty Mountains are a place in Middle Earth, and a TON of Zeppelin songs have Tolkien references.

  • @BigJake9989 I knoe right, siiiightttt kids and there "skyrim" today, jeeeshhh!

  • So I'm packing bags for the BOTTSRGEDDON.

  • Yeah

  • Best Band EVER!

  • 2,028 v. 16 people. That'd be a good fight lol

  • @akristen0121 if the 16 were British,they would win!

  • @Cincinnatus1869 lord of the rings is a masterpeice and not only nerds like it. dick

  • @explosionpants17 ...people who get insulted personally when someone makes fun of LOTR are the nerdiest of them all .

  • unless youa re Robert Plant , Lord of the rings references signify that you are a NERD

  • @Cincinnatus1869 You most likely work for a nerd, or will, at some point in your life. embrace nerd ness.

  • led zep songs dont use lube, and the ladies enjoy it

  • Fags...on that man's back

  • The Misty Mountains are in Wales. They are referred to in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Return Of The King. Plant is a big fan of Tolkien and used references to the Lord Of The Rings series from time to time.

  • Bonzo rocked a godamm drum set infinitely better than anyone ever has, or ever will. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, if you disagree? The only thing that means is... YOU SUCK!!!

  • BAAAAAAAAAAAYBY BAAAAAAAAAAAYBY BAAAAAAAAAAYBY

  • This song is really a great classic. Let us all take a moment of silence for the black blues musicians this band robbed along the way, just as the indigenous peoples of the Americas were.

  • @joey23125 And the old blues song that sound like this is?

  • @joey23125 DUDE U MAKE SAME COMMENT FOR EVERY ZEPPELIN SONG. U NEED TO GET OFF THIS SITE . GO INTO A "BLACK" HOLE AND NEVER COME OUT. UR A NIT WIT

  • Robert plant is da bomb. Rock on Led Zeppelin!

  • @xammas1245 Thumbs up if you are here because it is a kickass song, not because something brought you here

  • @47ericbalaam

Well then clearly it would be the kickass song that brought us here. Stop being a hipster and just enjoy the music.

  • John Paul Jones is boss.

  • why were they the greatest / i don't know why........

  • how many people who watcfh nascar love led zep?

  • Music the way it was meant to be.

  • I don't think I could ever date a guy who didn't like Zeppelin..

At least once in my life, I'd like to have sex to a Zeppelin playlist. Am I the only one? xD

    hahaha<3

  • @Dnewhall20 yer so funny

  • THE HOBBIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thumbs up if the Hobbit brought you here to hear this song!

  • @xammas1245 Where in The Hobbit is this song?

  • @Krakkhaus Not sure if it is in the movie, but the song is about the book.

  • @HY11A I am so ashamed that I didnt know that....

  • @HY11A . man , this song is about getting busted for smoking hash in the park with a bunch of hippies .What in these lyrics involves the Hobbit ?

  • Comment removed

  • @Krakkhaus it's not . It's just that all the LOTR fanatics like to pretend thT all Zeppelins song are about that book . Which part of the Hobbit involves smoking hash in the park and getting busted ? I think the lotr ffreaks are reaching a bit on this one

  • @Cincinnatus1869 hahaha, word

  • John Bonham kicks ass.

  • Why don't you take a good look at yourself and describe what you see

  • @darlenesalatino01 and BABY BABY BABY DO YOU LIKE IT!!!!

love me some Led robert's voice is so unique and never sounds bad and jimmy p guitar and sense of style always wearing something cool feel good music thats for sure

  • Its all a state of mind

  • I am overcome with awe... every time i listen to the greatest rock band ever.... what an incredible stroke of fortune that i came to know that such a band existed without knowing any thing about them at all !!! may be it was their cool name.... but i am still trying to figure out when i first came to know them... any how, searching for led zeppelin songs on youtube is my single greatest search on the internets !

Thanks RakyMaky for the excellent sound quality -Led Zeppelin deserves nothing less

  • and now to go back 6 or 7 pages to find @elvispresley718's comment >.<

  • @epicmetalhead87 It's not worth it. Then again, they're youtube comments. They almost never are.

  • Who the fuck would dislike Misty Mountain Hop?

  • Comment removed

  • Plant, Page, JPJ, and Bonzo are the only reason to put headphones in my ears.

  • in soviet Russia. misty mountain hops over you

  • the truth of the matter is, hendrix was an incredible guitar player. he did things with that instrument that people had never seen or heard before. whether he was better than zeppelin or not is a matter of opinion and not really anything that can be taught per say.

  • i love this song good weed smoking song kinda like wiz khalifa

  • Nothing better than winding your day down with some Zep and a bowl. peace, love, and bud <3

  • @6shelton6dude6 haha absolutely dude :)

  • @6shelton6dude6 bowl of lucky charms HELL yeah

  • dear Zep: why did you have to steal my heart with your beautiful music? oh yeah, cuz all the other music sucks (:

  • Okay, I'm not kidding. Can people go on ONE youtube video without having Justin Bieber or some other dipshit mentioned? Is that possible for humanity? Honestly, I'm getting tired, as are a ton of others I'm sure, of hearing their names. We get it, they will never be as good as the people we listen to, but no need to mention them on every good song like this out there. Stop. Just stop.

  • I would really fancy some LSD to enjoy this song with right now.

  • hey guys think about this, iff Justin Bierber Jennifer Lopez and other modern music interperts where "the hit" in 1970 and Led Zeppelin were "the hit" today. Dont you think that we would probably be hating on Led Zeppelin and listening to Bieber and Lopez? think about it. Naaah probably not. Led Zep forever mates

  • 2:40 woah ohh oh! love it!!

  • A great song for sure, but not one of their best works. Still, thanks for posting. You really can't go wrong with Led Zeppelin.

  • One of the coolest riffs of all time. I'm a HUGE fan of Led Zeppelin but personally I think the vocal tone could have been written differently, as is, the vocals make the song kind of akward...

  • @BananaBreakable its called dissonance

  • Ahhh...the LSD flashbacks I'm having to this song from the late 1970's.

  • an interesting historical fact about zeppelin..they were at their peak during the hippy , anti-war era..but they really never made any political statements in their music.... they were above and beyond that..maybe that's why the communist media hated them... yes, robert plant was a hippie type..but their music never was political..ever... i love zep for that.

  • @BeyondNeptune ...safe to say sex, drugs and rock & roll was their focus.

  • @BeyondNeptune I think you're right and it helps to keep them timeless. Who the hell wants to listen to a song about Richard Nixon :-)

I also think the critics hated them because they didn't need the press in the slightest. The people made them, that always pisses off media.

  • I love crunchy guitar!

  • Love this song, reminds me of all the times Tony D. played this in the dorms!

  • moto1, u fucking rock XD

  • @elvispresley718 you are a dumb fuck sir

  • @123pcp321 i'll match wits with an ignorant liberal any day

  • @elvispresley718 Spoken like a true Newt backer, ahole.

  • @elvispresley718 you're pretty stupid

  • @elvispresley718 Shouldn't you be listening to country music and watching NASCAR, aahole? What are you doing here with real music lovers?

  • @thegoosebrain idiot country music was one of the major influences on rock hot dog dumbass and by the way nascar draws more people than any other sport in the usa

  • @elvispresley718 except nascar is not a sport. Justin Bieber draws more views than led zeppelin, so hes better? Fuck no.

  • @ironlion7800 nascar is not a sport yer crazy

  • @elvispresley718 are you fucking kidding me??? Nascar only draws attention in the south and shit. football, baseball or basketball are bigger by far...

  • @lzochiodo10 remember there are quarter of a million people at a single race domwit!

  • i was a moron when i wnet to public school bottom line is i thought for myselfl

  • what do you think I saw????

  • Does anyone else find this song relevant to all the happenings on Wall St. and UC Berkeley?

  • Coincido con el muchacho de abajo

  • how can 14 people in this entire world dislike anything ever by led zeppelin??!? its all good!

  • what do ya think I saw

  • baby baby baby do you like it!!!!!!!

  • You know what we do when we need that extra push over the cliff. 11!

  • what happen to the won ahh ahhh ahh

  • If you have not yet experienced the mesmerizing beauty of Led Zeppelin's music, then you have not yet lived.

  • @calihorsechick

it means that i'm start to living from few weeks, it's never too late to appreciate :)

  • @calihorsechick or maybe lived in a cave forever

  • all right. That time I listen to this albam was in 93 and we ate a shit load of mushrooms and camped in the black wood forest in Oregon. I reccommend it for all ages as it a huge sress relief of all the day to day bull shit and everyone needs to break lose sometimes. ANYONE FEELING LIKE DOING THIS JUST GIVE ME A CALL 2096123277 AND IT BETTER NOT BE ALL GUYS AS THAT COULD RUIN A VERY GOOD TIME. smokem if you got them

  • This band went over like a lead balloon...

  • 0:58-4:43

    (cue head banging)

  • This isn't actually one of my favourite songs :O Shock horror. But it's still led zeppellin and it's great.

  • As always we appreciate Bonzo!

  • are led zeppelin athiests

  • This takes me back to cutting school and smoking cigs with my friends. We were all wearing jean jackets and the guys had long feathered hair. I still managed to be successful in life. I LOVE ZEPPELIN!

  • i was rocking out to hard and i punched my self in the dick and now i feel like throwing up :( FUCK

  • @thaAverageGamer oww! lol!

  • cant beleive this song did not crack the top 15 on get the led out 2011 list

  • @psu68born Really? Unfortunately I missed the whole countdown from the past two weeks. I'm interested to know what everyone picked. Maybe they have it posted on the website. Glad to know someone else is listening to "Get the Led Out."

  • @smill1985 ttrains permitting i try not to miss a get the led out episode q104.3 had the tope1043 songs stairway won that, but tin the top 15 led countdown kashmir won that. stairway finished second

  • @psu68born

    Q104 in Halifax?? I'm there!!!!

  • @psu68born Thanks for your message! I could totally see how "Kashmir" would win. That is a great song as well. And I was reading somewhere that apparently the band felt that "Kashmir" was one of their best achievements. In case you were wondering, I listen to "Get the Led Out" with Carol Miller in Kalamazoo, MI on 92.5 FM, WZUU.

  • @smill1985 kashmir is a awesome song and glad it won best led zep song from the led zep fans, didnt know carol millers get the led out was in other citites other then nyc and LA Very glad it is elsewhere.

  • @workmatters77 uh....Do the names Mitch Mitchell or Neil Pert mean nothing to you?

  • @DethMunkee1990 neil pert of rush is good, mitch mitchell from the hendrix band is good as well there not john bonham but that is no shame not being better then the best ever

  • @psu68born Neil Peart is boring. Mitch Mitchell was great, yeah, but others like Jaki Leibezeit and Reni are just as good as Bonham. I'd say Reni's better, actually, hard hitting but with a real groove and swing. A great singing voice too, always doing backing vocals. "Daybreak" shows his chops well.

Bonzo, for sure, though will never be pushed out of the Top 5 drummers ever.

  • @MrThreshold2009 Neil Peart is not boring. He is one of the best drummers ever.

  • @bongloadz4satan bonzo and keith are and always will be better. his new solos are boring and frankly quite shitty. i used to be a big fan of his but through the years hes gotten worse

  • @TehSxeNerd Regardless, I still hold Neil Peart as one of my favorite drummers. Most of the time i can't really say who's the better musician, but you have to admit that neil peart is one hell of a drummer.

  • @bongloadz4satan I'm not a Rush fanatic, but I know - and mostly really like - their classic era stuff. My impression is that he wasn't really recorded well enough to do him justice. What he was playing was really impressive, but the production didn't do him credit. Just my opinion though. For that matter, Jimmy was an awesome producer for Zeppelin, but his focus was always on the song (as it should be). Sometimes you didn't get a feel for how awesome Bonham was, either

  • @bongloadz4satan Look Neil has speed yes, but NO drummer on earth had the ability to drum several different beats at once, John Bonhams arms and legs where like they were attached to different body parts. Yes Neil is the fastest, but Bonham also drums a different style, thats one of the reasons after John died Led Zeppelin didnt carry on, they all said Zepp wouldnt be the same without John and no DRUMMER could replace him. That says alot about them. just to clear up the argument

  • @TheDjBlitzification Neil was never about speed. I guess he could drum fast when he wanted to, but show me where does he ever go for speed in songs? Neil is at his best when doing complicated polyrhythms , like in YYZ, La Villa Strangiato, and subdivisions.

  • @Ignore14

  • @bongloadz4satan ya this is my fav song

  • @bongloadz4satan

Peart and Bonham..... damn close, a little different styles. I couldn't pick one! But life or death, give me Zep and Bonham.

  • @BAZOOKATOOTH32 It really depends on what I feel like listening to on a certain day. I can't actually choose between them.

  • @MrThreshold2009 Jesus! what is your obsession with reni? every video I go on your banging on about him. I love the stone roses (going to see them in Heaton Park next summer, cannot fucking wait) and i love reni, great unique drummer who is criminally underrated, but why bang on about him in keith moon, led zep videos, etc?! he's not in Moon, Bonham, Mitchell, Baker or Peart's league, get over it

  • @bigdaveupload1980 Calm yourself, dear. You don't know much about drumming, that's obvious. My obesssion with Reni is that he's the most naturally gifted drummer I've ever come across - a total genius. You've certainly managed to totally overreact to it all. Towing the usual Bonham line is pretty tedious as well.

  • @MrThreshold2009 don't know much about drumming? you based that on one youtube comment in which i didnt refer to any drumming technique? ok pal. towing the bonham line? sorry if you feel thats what I did my expressing my opinion that Bonzo was a better drummer than reni, (who drummed one amazing album, and one incredibley average album by the way). Far more innovative and influential, even though i'm more of a moon, portnoy, mithcell, and 'boring' peart fan.

  • @bigdaveupload1980 Bonham was a fantastic drummer, I have no issues with that, he's one of the best ever. But "far more innovative"? Come off it. He'd get a big heavy groove and stick with it, and that's about all. And Moby Dick could be a hell of a drag. Reni's drumming is actually on a number of albums, and countless bootlegs (spanning dozens of songs you won't have heard). Another drummer, Jaki Liebezeit, is way above any of the drummers you listed.

  • @MrThreshold2009 Jaki is absoluetly terrific. I thought you were just a stone roses fanboy, but it appears you know your stuff if your mentioning him. Don't wanna argue with you, sorry if it came across like that. Moon will always be my favourite drummer though, the 'Jimi Hendrix of the drumkit', But i do love reni. You going to the renuninon gig?

  • I do not think there should be a dislike bar

  • when ever god wants to listens to any rock song all the dead rock stars play for him

  • here i sut like a rustin book on a shelf

  • Obviously God took Bonham because someone had to do the thunder up in heaven.

  • @Ledonist We all miss Bonzo! Isn't it incredible that no drummer can even come close?

  • Ive got the first 20 seconds of this as my ring tone. Amazing how many of the younger fold where I work comment on it when the phone rings. Great great song.

  • used to go to the midnight showing of the song remains the same trippin on acid. it got better every time we went, many many times. zep rocks

  • Jon Paul Jones could play a crowbar and put a baby to sleep. Such Talent.

  • my first Real Good High on Marijuhana , i was listening alone in my room to this Record , from start to beginning , and WOW !! the quality of this record is just AWESOME , its recorded LIVE , the sound is so Perfect , i was thinking Led Zeppelin are Playing in my room

Led Zeppelin are Definetley My Gods of Music !! i LOVE them !

  • Hiroko say no no.Suki say yo.

  • these drums omg

  • When you've had a really shitty day, you just come home and turn on led zeppelin and then everythings fine again!

  • @keeffan49 i agree... for me, zep and RUSH cheered me up every fucking time. And maybe a beer

  • Nobody but Zeppelin comes up with the nastiest riffs.

  • Fuck the neighbors! I'm turning this shit up to 11.

  • @moto1p1 wo bro dont go that far lol

  • @Conhair25 Hey bro, I'm the last one in the world that wanted it to have to come to this, but sometimes you gotta give the people what they want. However, in this case it's a shitload more fun for me when they don't wan't it ! ! !

  • @moto1p1 Why don't you just make 10 louder and make that the top number?

  • @petey815 Because I needed that extra push over the cliff! lol

  • @moto1p1 "well why not just mke 10 louder"

"... but this goes to 11"

  • Whenever I listen to Led Zeppelin on the radio on my way to work, I think "Yep. I'm gonna make today my bitch"

  • @EmNauseam what radio station!?!?

  • YES! Took me forever, but I FOUND IT!!!!! Heard this on the radio, knew it was Zeppelin, but it took me forever to find it. Now I'll listen to it about 300 times.

  • I'm a sophomore at a high school full of dubstep, pop and rap. and people who say they listen to rock and or metal, not this age. they listen to stuff like Asking Alexandria or whatever... I get ripped on for wearing a KISS shirt or Iron Maiden. I get labeled goth, emo or just stupid. I dress what now-a-days people would classify as goth. When in reality, I dress as a metalhead. Leather Jacket, Dark Blue jeans and sporting a band Tee underneath. Along with my metal militia dog tags. True Story.

  • @arceus9000 Good for you for being yourself...and don't worry about what anyone says about your musical tastes or the clothes you wear. 20 years from now people will STILL be listening to Zeppelin, Kiss, Iron Maiden, etc...and the "flavor of the day internet bands" that we have to suffer through now a days will be just a distant memory. Most of them won't even qualify for One hit wonder status.

  • i like going to california and Black dog

  • Another AMAZING song off of Led Zeppelin IV.

  • @1962drob You sure got that right.LED-ZEPPELIN RULES!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!

  • @1962drob 95.5 KLOS :) was GREAT when I lived in SO.CAL and I'm sure it still is.ROCK ON!!!!

  • @MrMegaFredzeppelin Well, I used to listen to the "7th Day" with Joe Benson. It was cool that he played 7 complete albums every Sunday. And he always played Led Zeppelin, Stones, Beatles,The Doors, etc.

    LED ZEPPELIN RULES!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!

  • at last i find it!!!!

  • I live in L.A and I listen to KLOS ..every day at 7 pm the play a few of led zeppelin songs they call it whole lotta led block ,that tells you how amazing this band was ,this week they are playing songs from the IV album ,which is amazing ! :)

  • @toniquix That's really cool man!!! I used to live in L.A., and one thing I've always liked about KLOS is they always do tributes on great albums like Led Zeppelin IV. Hard to believe yesterday it was 40 years ago that this AMAZING album was released, and it still KICKS ASS after all these years :)

    ROCK ON!!!!!

  • Hard to believe this band, at one point and time, were the heaviest entity on planet Earth. Respect.

  • @GrimmKonig Internet bro-fist has been awarded.

  • 40 year anniversary of IV !!!!!!
