  • @starrdrop67, if it's the same one I'm thinking of, For Crying Out Loud was done by Davis Daniel.

  • I love this song and the video

  • OMG I can't believe I've finally found the songs from Marty Brown... I completely forgot about YouTube & kept asking everyone, "do you remember a guy from Kentucky named Brown that sang in the early 90's? I FOUND HIM! YaY! =) Thank you for the music you've put out there & I wish you'd put out some more! =) YOU ROCK, COUNTRY STYLE!!! =)

  • I love the energy of this video; I've never forgotten the dancing girl in the pink jacket at 2:24. And the drummer was too cute!

  • i been a mrty brown fan from way back they never gave him his pure justice hes the best

  • I have been in love with this song and album since the first time I heard it. I'm not exactly what you'd call a country fan, but something in this song grabbed me and hasn't let me go. I wish I still had the old cassette!

  • @LaFilleMange I know exactly what you mean, I'm not a big country fan either but this song is pretty darn good :) Thanks for commenting.

  • Gosh! I love this song!!! Great job!

  • Best there ever was and is.....

  • Pure talent. Love and respect his work.

  • Finaly one official video of Marty Brown on Youtube, one of the greatest country singers ever and one of the most underrated.I hope someday could recognise his genuine talent, I do and since the early 90´s.

  • I just seen my sister!

Not only is Marty talented, he has children who are also talented. Music runs in the blood. Marty has been an inspiration to his daughter, who loves picking up the guitar and has every since she could crawl. Keep the great music coming, and keep a look out for his children, one of them or all might be on CMT>

  • Marty is really an amazing guy - who has amazing and real talent! He is the real deal. All his songs come from the heart. You will never meet anyone like him. I believe the radio stations should have played more of his songs, esp. around his home town. His music and voice gives me chills.

  • Haven't heard this song in years, but it pops in my head from time time. Tonight I thought about you tube, and there it was. One of my all time favorites, and to think he's from Maceo,Ky., not for from where I live. Thanks for posting this great song.

  • I like the song as well I wonder what he is doing now?

  • Ha, i actualy know marty his family he has alot of new songs, you should listin to his older son he is realy talented

  • Marty is actually a friend of my family's. I have talked with him on several occasions and I must say, he is a genuinely very kind person.

  • did he sing a song called for crying out loud?

  • I wouldn't know, I'm not exactly a fan.

  • That was from the same era, but the singer was Davis Daniel...

  • @starrdrop67 That was Davis Daniel. Awesome song. Last I heard (about 15 years ago) Davis was back to driving a beer truck for a living.

  • @starrdrop67 , no he hasnt to my knowledge. ive known Marty a long time and thats one i never heard. but i will ask.

  • man i miss marty! great stuff man where did u and that sound go. country all the way listin to it all the time!

  • It's about time someone posted this video! Marty has a great voice. What ever happened to him? what;s he doing now?

  • I have all of his cds and wish there were more. Love his original sound

  • thank you organics. i was hoping to download the song to a cd. i certainly appreciate you help . :-)

  • You might be able to find the album on ebay, worth a shot anyway.

  • Very true organics.

  • I wish there was somewhere i could download this song. i have searched and searched to no avail. LOVE this song.

  • If you have RealPlayer you can download this video.

  • Great sound to bad we dont see more of him these days, Another great artist is Trent Summar give him a listen someday.

    Thanks again for the post

  • Thanks so much for sharing this, I loved it the first time I heard it back in the 90's, and still do!

  • If only all of you could hear him now. My brother was so young here and he sang well but now he is awesome in every way. His voice has deepened. His songs are even better and he is beyond a shadow of a doubt the best pure country singer of our age period. Marty has more talent in his pinky finger than guys like these fake Karoke Cowboys you see and hear now have in their whole body. Marty is 120% real and listening to country radio now just makes you sick. Johnny Cash,Hank Jr would agree with me

  • Does Marty have a website?Where could a person find his new music? If Marty could get airplay i beleive he could be stronger than ever. There is a strong audience for Marty.Lets all call our local radio stations and demand they play Marty's music.

  • He is on MySpace

  • A good ,true talented artist like Marty, only gets better with age.He is a true talent, with his own sound, great vocal, terrific look, his own style.Compare this with the likes of Trace Atkins or the phony bullshit of Toby Keith. There is no comparison!

You don't grow tired of a great vocal!!

  • Wow, thanks for posting. I grew up in Owensboro and searched YouTube not terribly long ago for this video (I have the CD). Zaz, tell Marty to get up to Chicago to play -country (at least alt) is big here. Would love to hear him!

  • Have all of his cds. Purchased the last one from his fan club. Saw ad posted on myspace for Marty Brown. Love his music, song writing talent and all he stands for. Bring him back to "Country Music". What we have to choose from today is not Country, but a lot of youngsters who sound alike and look alike.

  • wish he come back and sing

  • love all his songs...

  • As could as a 'feel good' country tune can get. Other than tonite I have not seen the vid since the early 90's. 'Ol Marty B. does it up right; this is truly country at its fines! My son Thomas loved this video/song when he was tyke. He is now 6'4" 230 and a Mountaineer Frosh @ WVU. How blessed am I? Merry Christmas to all & to all a good nite. Stay safe people and thanks for posting this piece of timeless excellence. - ace

  • I lived near Bowling Green Ky back when Marty was on 48 hours. I went to every show I could and he ALWAYS put on a great show and would always stay and visit. Man I miss him-True Blue (What Country is all about) Man!!!

  • Its been awhile since Ive seen this video. Brings back memories of when it was filmed. The man playing guitar sitting on the porch at 1:52-1:55 is my father-in-law. I will have to let him know that this song is posted so he can see it again. I know its been a while for him too.

  • Every now and then I think of how Martys been cheated by Nashville and it makes me MAD! RABBIT.

  • THANK YOU!The more we can get out there from Marty the better! The quality of the tape is"nt as important as the MUSIC.THANKS AGAIN.GOD BLESS,JACK RABBIT.
