When this video was taken radioshack only accepted the metricular card, becaise of sprint's rules. They did not do ANYTHING illegal themselves. And if you people were paying attention, sprint changed they're policy about 3 years ago.
When it comes to profit we should all notice that laws are broken and the structure of society is a cruel double standard. Money as it is in society today is an enabler for those who would use it to cheat others in ways that lead to serious physical harm. If we have to abide by laws that prohibit unverifiable documentation then they should too. Otherwise don't abide by any laws.
Go to Center for Immigration Studies & you will learn that most illegals have fraudulent documentation that gets them a job & anything else they need.

Thanks for the info, but, I think this is pretty much an isolated incident. I have not noticed any other stores with that or any other signage approving the use of the Matricula Consular card.
did you find out if its a franchise (sp) store cause there is alot of them around in my area cause some customers ask why we dont carry stuff that they do cause we are a corp. store
I did not think to ask about that. I am pretty sure that would make a difference. Although I do know that even as a franchise, the signage has to be approved by corporate.

i work at radioshack and we cant give a phone to anyone without a non stolen ssn and a state id, and if it is a fake id or ssn then the system sends me a message to call it in and then the cell company i call tells me that the id or ssn is not registering and denies them of the phones or they will ask for $2000 deposit just to tell them to go away pretty much and any credit card we get that is stolen is denyed also right away, so yeah no problems understanding once you work for a strong company/

I am sorry that you are so misinformed. I stated it in the comment to metallicafan. It is an ID slotted for illegal aliens so they have some type of identification. It has been proven by many many people to be obtained without proof of being a legitimate "migrant worker" (illegal alien). Search for it here in youtube.
It is in fact not an approved sign and the district does know about it. I personally called them and informed them. However I did get the usual secretary that said she will pass the message to the appropriate person. Yawn!!!

The Matricula Consular is the ID given to illegals while they are here in America. It has been proven many many times that ANYBODY can get one. Which makes it a non legitimate form of identification. That in turn leads to identity theft and can go from there....and does.
You would figure that Radio Shack, of all people would have enough brains to figure out that the illegals id is as good as a $100 bill with Big Bird's picture on it.

the only way they can get a phone is to get a prepaid phone since the fake ssn or id will be denied instantly
