How in the name of sweet christ can u play like that. its beyond my understanding, ive been playing guitar for 6 months now, i know thats no time at all compared to you but how the hell do you move your fingers lik that? They say practice makes perfect but damn!.... Ive been trying to learn this song but i cant even get the opening correct, what exactly are you doing? Is is playing the dead strings? I can hit the first chord but after thst idk how to replicate your movements.

@chip7104 It just takes practice man, 5 or 6 months ago I couldnt sing while playing to save my life, so I sat down every day for a few hours a day (i still do that part, practice practice pactice =) working on the same cover (i think it was mourning by tantric) over and over. try playing ALONG with the song you are covering. listen to the song on youtube while ur playing and sing along. Just make the guitar part muscle memory (through repetitiveness) and AFTER u play w/o thinking, try to sing!

@chip7104 The main tip would be to not stop moving your right arm. A lot of people try to play the rhythm only playing down or thinking about the rhythm constantly, and it always looks jerky and doesn't sound right. Play with your right arm moving constantly (with some exceptions, of course) and get the rhythm of the songs down 100% without having to think about it. Then, you can concentrate on singing. Rhythm should always be effortless and be learned first, in my opinion.

Shaun Morgan said in an interview that when he screams, he doesn't do that fake scream thing..he just screams his ass off. Just listen to the pitch of the scream (it does in fact have one) and try to sing it..if you can't sing it you can't scream it, at least not without killing your voice. Just my two cents.

thats pretty good. in a black and white view, your scream was good. you may want to try and learn the grunge technique for seether covers, you should make ids on how you scream. there are tons of people who put vids up. please join the club. because I'm trying to learn every single thing i can about screams, peoples screams, and the types around and how people execute them. deffinently think about it

I can do the grunge technique, but it messes up my voice, so I can't sing anything else after.. I understand, it just hurts my voice.. Um, as to how I scream, if I can ever figure out how to describe it, I'll put a video up for you.. LOL  trying to figure out exactly what I do.. thanks for the comment!!
