Excellent, if slick, stuff... But it's not true that this 'O.D.One-step' was the 'very first' recording by the ODJB. They had already cut 'Livery Stable Blues' on this day (26.2.17)for Victor, and a whole month before this, on 30.1.17 for Columbia, waxed 'Darktown Strutters Ball' and 'Indiana'. But that doesn't detract from the importance of this excellent video which is good revivalist Jazz. Pity we can't recapture the 1917 recordings in the same way!
