Not only is The Goonies one of the best movies of the 80's but Cyndi Lauper really outdid herself with this song! Cyndi has always known how to make a totally awesome video! She always goes all out and has the craziest people in them and crazy antics, the whole shebang! I remember going to see The Goonies with my friends and man we totally loved that movie. It was just funny and crazy! The 80's holds so many wonderful memories for me! I had the best times then and all of this came with it! :-D

@RetroJenny 1981-2001 is MTV era.. Those years were the best for music videos.. ALL the 80s music videos were still on heavy airplay through the 90s, so were the tv shows & movies.. I don't know anyone born in the 80s (especially born in the first half)who cant identify that decade.. I think anyone knows a lot about the decade they were born in, I think its stupid some people don't.. Born "early 80s" you would have lived the whole decade too.. 8 years old is late childhood

As a trade off, Lauper had a selection of heel wrestlers appear on this pop video after the event. I love this song, I love The Goonies and I love watching WWF/E wrestling but promoting not just one but two completely different franchises that don't belong together on a single pop video feels so wrong to me.
