I feel sorry for this car ,i have 7 Datsun ,from 1600 roadster ,2 cars of 240z ,280z ,2cars of 280zx & 300zx ,oh what a shame to do something like this to a good classic car

Ill be selling mine soon. Im replacing a bad strut right now, straight piped a cherry bomb on the back to replace an old holey muffler, new alternator, needs new hoses, battery is dirty, tires were put on brand new 4 months ago. a lot of small corrosion, seat wear, and things of that sort. its a 79 280zx in Idaho.

Youtube car experts are hilarous. He already said the frame was rotted beyond repair, which likely means that the body papnels were getting ready to hit the fan as well. I love the restoration you guys finished up. I'm getting ready to restore a 260z here soon that was a barn find. Mind if i ask your shop's phone number (if you are a shop of course) in case I need help sourcing any parts? Nebraska is not exactly the easiest place to find classic datsun trim.

Why a Datsun? even if its a 77 why?! I would love to see a Ford Probe or a Toyota Camry crushed selling a Z for scrap hasn't been done since the late 70's early 80's. You can't find a better car than a 77' Z. This is Horrible It's like crushing a Gt40 or a Detomosso Pantera. It's a part of American and Japanese history that you are destroying.

when those rusty soya sause buggies came out the shares in the Company BONDO tripled... they almost rust out on the show room floors. There is thicker metal used in an old 1980's toothpaste tube. The Z is easily becomming one of the most collectable Japanese cars stateside, and here's one being crushed for scrap. How much did you get? I'm betting you could have sold it to an enthusiast for at least $500 or parted it out for more than that.
