I just watched a documentary on the French revolution, which was extremely bloody for many years. So far, Egypt has behaved admireably, all told. They're only a short way through, but if they peacefully recognize EVERYONE's rights, even those they dislike, and make room for ALL opinions and people, they'll get a Republic, if not a Democracy (possible, perhaps, with new technology), without much bloodshed. They could stand as an example of how to revolt.

The so called revolution just gave absolute power to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and they've suspended the constitution. So somehow, the good and just military class is just going to give back that power in 6 months? If egypt wanted real change, they'd have to eliminate the entire military class of rulers, but they haven't.
