  • Khaled Saeed does NOT translate to Eternal Happiness.

  • @khalidmoftah What made you come out with that comment?

  • @Spare14All Khaled means immortal not eternal. Not to mention that it is unlikely his family chose his name to mean something specific with his father/family name. Finally, what his name means is beside the point. Who he was and what his death meant is what matters. Are you bored yet?

  • @khalidmoftah lol never, thanks for the reply

  • A pure heart... refreshing to see.

  • ;)

  • HEI!, they cut out who were making death threats!

  • This comment was addressed to the european guy ..I am american but not arrogant to think my race or color is more attractive ..I am open to different cultures and ethnicities ....you are not better than anyone so keep your gross comments to yourself

  • @vwstevorino The uprising would be squashed by COINTELPRO

  • EgYpT_______________________________

  • You are such a nice person. We all love you. We hope and pary that Egypy bondage is over by such a lovely and educated geeration like you.

  • I just watched a documentary on the French revolution, which was extremely bloody for many years. So far, Egypt has behaved admireably, all told. They're only a short way through, but if they peacefully recognize EVERYONE's rights, even those they dislike, and make room for ALL opinions and people, they'll get a Republic, if not a Democracy (possible, perhaps, with new technology), without much bloodshed. They could stand as an example of how to revolt.

  • i have lost all respect for egyptians after what they did to lara logan. just when you think they're moving into the future, they gang rape a helpless woman like its the dark ages. good job egyptians, you just completely nullified your progress as a people by doing this barbaric behavior.

  • @ihmen FUCK U!!! youi're the barbaric ass!!! how do u know they weren't from the police themselves??? they've been known to do that!!! so it's just that corrupt sector and not all Egypt, creep!!! now go fuck yourself again!!!

  • @ihmen Her crew said it was a mob of pro-mubaraks, next time please do your research before you say such nonsense.

  • @TheMrMarvellous no, Lara was gang raped by men CELEBRATING Mubarak resignation, NOT by angry Mubarak supporters. she was walking around in the middle of the celebration in cario when this happened. this is what the arabs did to her, they raped a helpless little girl as part of their celebration, whoever did this are animals!

  • @ihmen Lara was NOT Raped, She was beating up By Mubarak henchman and sexually assaulted. sexually assaulted does NOT mean RAPE. And this didn't happen while Cairo was in celebration. I don't know where your getting your Info from, But I was there at the time. IF your implying that Egyptians are Animals, Than take a good look at your country and you'll see the real animals.

  • @ThePhara3on I thought this was a new Egypt, and we were going to act a little bit more responsibly than that!!!

So instead of arguing over reports, let's take the first step by saying that its not strange that this happened here! Sexual harassments and thugs attacking women in the streets happens here ALL the time!

The right thing to do is to appologize to a reporter that risked her life to come to Egypt to tell the entire world our story, and a few bad apples and street thugs took advantage!

  • @beliha I also should add that in all cases, good samaritans ALWAYS intervene and save the day.

Like in the case of Lora, a group of women and soldiers rushed to her aid!

So we should be commending those women and those soldiers, and thanking Lora for risking her life to rbing the world our story

  • @beliha I understand, This is a new Egyptian Dream, And I Agree with you that Egyptians have to take responsibility for their actions. Apparently these thugs and goons do NOT represent real Egyptians and what the people fought for. I'm NOT trying to argue..I'm ashamed to what happened to that reporter. IF I was standing before her. I would kiss her and hug her for her heroic actions she took by covering this revolution. And Than would apologize to her for what happened to her.

  • @ThePhara3on go read the news dude, this happened during the celebration on friday. sexually assaulted is just as bad as rape in my opinion. you have no idea how bad i feel for her, i wish i was there i would have fucking fought those 200 people with my bare hands, i dont care if my life would be risked. i would do everything to stop this.

  • @ihmen I feel just as bad as you do to what happened to that reporter, And I would've kicked the crap out of them IF I had the chance too. these 200 people that did this DO NOT represent the real Egyptians who fought for our Freedom. For All I know, this could have been the same people who escaped for the jails. Well I hope these 200 thugs would be tried and jailed for their actions.

  • @ihmen Exuse me, but she was NOT RAPED. Please do not twist the story.

  • @Dooont you dont know if she was raped or not. she was sexually assaulted, that is an umbrella term that can mean anyhing from grabbing a breast to pull penetration of the vagina. i personally believe she was raped, her clothes were probably stripped off and penetrated. ive seen it happen before

  • @ihmen Theres a massive difference between Rape and sexual Assault. Penetration would mean Rape and she didnt say she was raped. You believe whatever you want, it doesnt matter what the facts are, you will belive what you want to belive. Just because you saw someone get raped before doesnt mean that this is what happened here. . .

  • @Dooont rape is a form of sexual assault. so it is possible her vagina was penetrated. but they're just not using the word "rape" to spare her some dignity. i just find it hard to believe that she was attacked by a crowd of 200, she was probably wearing a skirt, and not one penetrated her? these people are like animals, once they attack they go for the kill if you know what i mean.

  • @ihmen that was pro moubark people and they have even killed lots of children only cuz they were protesting u can not put it on the Egyptians people !!

  • @ihmen because 10 or so people are crazy and ill, your going to judge 80 million? come on. what about the group of Egyptian women who saved her.

  • The Phara3on is right, this is about a country and it's problems, not about religion or other countries. Is about people that had enough of a dictatorial government which has beat them, steal the country's money and their fight to change their own future. Making it about religion is not only wrong, it's bad because during the revolution muslims, christians and jews pray together for a better Egypt. And it cost them too much also.

  • his fav song is my fav song :)

  • egypt needs an israeli leader, if they ever hopes to be as good as israel, they will need to adapt the was of the tora.

  • Google was kicked out of China because of its ties to the US intelligence community. This Ghonim is an executive of Google and helped organize the protests. The so called revolution just gave absolute power to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and they've suspended the constitution. So somehow, the good and just military class is just going to give back that power in 6 months? If egypt wanted real change, they'd have to eliminate the entire military class of rulers, but they haven't.

  • Shame on the US government for backing Mubarak!

You did not stand by your ideals!

  • @yairani1985 You have got that right. We here in the USA have high principals but only for us. Our government has no problem supporting dictators that deprive other people their rights and liberties. It is a disgrace. But we are working on trying to improve that.

  • @Maxwedge12000

Good luck with that! And I hope you don't think that people who are 'anti-US' are actually anti-US people. It's just that the government is the face of the US.

  • @yairani1985 I have seen to many videos of Arabs burning American flags and chanting "death to America" to think they do not hate us. But via our foreign policy we have created a lot of that hatred. that being said, I pray the Egyptian people choose their next government wisely. If they are allowed to that.

  • i'm proud 2 b EGYPTIAN and one of ( we r all khaled saiid )

  • @MrNo4people rag head

  • Mubarak Is the one who disliked this video!! Twice !!

  • 1 dislike? ...How?!?!?!? Rock on Wael!

  • ah ya shazz el geneena.

  • I love how everyone has his own "conspiracy theory" behind our revolution..it's quite amusing to witness actually...kinda like a dog sniffing around its ass looking baffled.

  • If anyone here thinks this is about freesom, ya'll better wake up. This is a commie organized uprising. Careful what you ask fo when you don't have the answer.

  • awesome interview. very inspiring :)

  • @ rachelgolem: it doesn't work this way ever 'Egyptians to thank Jew for inventing FB' well to say this the whole world should thank the Egyptians Pharaohs for inventing the numbers and the Arabs for inventing Aljabr (Algebra) and the number 'zero' the key for the binary digital language..and byt we don't hate Jews we hate Israel for targeting innocents.

  • @ilm0808 It happened that the Phelishians invented the numbers not the arabs

  • jews in washington? can you prove anything without just saying it, the US supported Egypt because it was stable, not because of Jews, Thats all we can get in the middle east even when it bites the hand that feeds.

  • Harry Smith is a Sham and a Obama Lapdog. This dipshit should report the truth, and not cover or re-elect Failed Incompentent Obama. Harry Smith ask the tough questions, Harry Smith is an loser and a hasbeen reporter.

  • I never mentioned angilina Jolie, but you love her along with all of Hollywood, but becareful Hollywood is why you hate us also, is that what you wont? Can you handle someone having a different opion than you? That is what freedom is, you deal with other religions other peoples and you deal with it like civilised people. Free press, free religion, free speach, do you even know what that is? Can you get along with others that disagree with you without resulting to violence?

  • Well, it can't happen here. Our government is a democracy. It is good. It helps corporations to supply our military with all kinds of stuff to fight wars to keep us safe here at home. It gives money to people to show us how to have reproductive health. Sometimes they say its OK to do things that you have a right to do even if you take away someone's right to live. We help countries like Egypt to buy weapons from us. It helps us to feel OK about these things so we can sleep at night.

  • thank you for having a legimate comment, I understand that israel(in your mind) might be in human rights violations. But unfortunatly for you and others, Israel has the right to exist as a nation according to the UN, I would like to have peace, i dont wont to send my son to the same place i and his mother went to fight and secure peace. I can tolarate other religions but i can not tolarate hate and the killing of innocence.

  • holly shit, everyone youtube: "Awakening 2012" everything that happened in Egypt will make sense. wow!

  • thats your best words, prove me wrong, they are "unemployed" and "young" these are facts, base yours with facts not words. the military has taking over, please prove me wrong, these people hate america and israel they wont war, please prove me wrong.

  • @jasonb7744 i am an Egyptian studied at the American university in Cairo and we don't hate America and we don't want war (if we want war why would we make the camp David peace treaty with Israel ) but that doesn't deny the fact that we are against the Un-humanitarian acts by the Israeli government towards the Palestinians and that is not because we are Egyptians its because we are humans.

  • @5795535 When Israel stops suppressing the Palestinians then we can sign a peace treaty. Other than that, I don't belive America and Egypt should be allies, and the reason given is because of the mass murder they cause in Palestine. It is also un-humanitarian in the eyes of some to sign a peace treaty with a country that causes such a massacre to our neighbours. You see, America wants peace, but only when it suits their needs.

  • @Dooont Lets get one thing straight. This Revolution that Egyptians have paid with our blood is about Egypt and her sons and daughters. This isn't about America, Palestinians or Israel. This is about poor people who live in the streets and eat from garbage. We fought for our Rights and won. Now IF you want your rights..Than go fight for it. I don't mean to be mean to you..But this is about Egyptians and our own affairs.

  • @ThePhara3on Ok, I agree with you. So what does the Camp David Peace treaty have to do with that? In order for Egyptians to live, eat, they need a peace treaty with Israel? The Majority in Egypt are Muslim, and as muslims we don't make allies with those who fight us. Orders by Allah and his messenger. Egypt has exsisted for over 5000 years way before America was on the map. We always did well without the help of Israel and America. Its time to be independant and go back to being strong egypt.

  • @Dooont This Revolution occurred because 40 percent of the population lives below the poverty level. As a coptic Christian, This has nothing to do with religion, Rather everything to do with human dignity and pride. Christians as well as Muslims marched hand in hand to save our country. Camp David happened because Egypt was torn apart. Lets NOT inject Religion into this. I Agree with the fact that The majority of Egyptians are Muslims, But these Egyptian Muslims Need to live as free peopl

  • @ThePhara3on Ok, I didnt know you are Christian sorry. But All i was trying to say that the peace-treaty causes ill feelings amoungst the muslim majority because what happens to Palestinians. Christians have entitlements in Egypt, the same as Muslims. It doesn't have to do with religion, but human rights and as humans we can't accept the brutality of Israel thats all. I am for peace in Egypt and protection of the egyptian citizens.

  • @Dooont Thats O.K Hun, I know you didn't know that I'm a Coptic. Here's the point. Egypt right now is in no position to help anyone out ( Let alone help ourselves first) We are on a ship that has many holes in it. We FIRST need to fix our problems before we can help any Palestinians. Peace can only be established through negotiations and NOT through violence. and the rest is left up to "GOD" Let GOD, wight the scales of whats going on. A day before Moubark left, There was a rainbow over Cairo.

  • @Dooont And it didn't even rain. While we prayed in our Churches, It was our Muslim brothers who stood on guard for us. And While the Muslims prayed in this revolution..It was the Coptics who stood on guard for them against the police. And you know that we will never stand for what the Israelis have done the Palestinians. But in due time we will stand up to Israel and tell them that Palestinians have the right to live as free human beings and they also have dignity.

  • proud 2 be Egyptian

  • Puppet upgrade, connect the dots, Rothschild owns google, google exec initiates a rebelion whose purpose is to bring down a puppet. The Egypt central bank owned by a zionist jew Rothschild. The nation borrows its own money instead of creating it. False debt used to justify the immoral extored tax debt slave control system. Go egypt, ban debt issue ban usury ban extorted theft tax lead humanity out of darkness. Dont just choose a puppet upgrade choose a financial system upgrade as well.

  • sum1 askd what i knew about Islam, I know enough thank you, I have been to 6 Islam countries and they are nothing and never will be like the US, Your religion doesnt allow it, you are poor and will always be poor, women have no rights, and will never have rights, minorities have no rights, and will never have rights, no free speech, no free press, should i go on?

  • @jasonb7744 You are an ignoramus.

  • @jasonb7744 You know I find it ironic that you hate us so much yet you find time to bash us online..I don't like Angelina Jolie, you don't see me youtubing her and spewing my hatred on her vids. I guess "Get a life loser" is what I'm trying to say.

  • @jasonb7744 Islam countries? If you want people to take your thoughts on the region seriously- maybe you need to learn how to speak coherently. Islam is a noun- you should have written MUSLIM countries.

Secondly- there is no religion that inherently democratic. The concept of Democracy and human rights came out of the Age of Enlightenment, when we looked beyond religious doctrine to explain the world around us. Christian and Jewish extremist beliefs are equally as abhorrent as Islamic extremism

  • Thirdly, there is Islamic Extremism in Egypt and many countries in the Middle East because the dictators we supported over the past 60 years sought to destroy every potential political movement that could pose a threat to their rule. If you were secular, centrist, you were imprisoned, tortured, or killed unless you either fled the country or kept your political views to yourself. The only institution the regimes can not touch is the mosque, so all political opposition moved there.

  • many revolutions before internet came along.if there is dis connect between govt. and people,it can eventually build up.hungry people are angry people.

  • we all have todelf our cave men and get our money back Egypt bellongs to good people of egyp, all your tomorrows depend on your love

  • thanx wael ghonim for this real victorious we like u brother "eslam from egypt"

  • The power of social network is the Trojan Horse in the nowadays .

Unity is the key for anything to achieve.

Peace and prosperity will stop the most of the unnecessary suffering.

Thanks for making possible all this great information.

    Best wishes.

  • So, where is the video without all these stupid cuts? I want Ghonim's opinion about Egypt, not Obama or America.

  • @JosDaBosS1 Are you kidding me?????? Even if our country knew what was coming, we couldn't do anything about it. Egypt doesn't belong to us. I'm happy for them, now it's up to them to figure out how their country goes forward and that's going to be very hard to do. I wish them well

  • HS: "If you are an autocrat, or if you're a dictator, and you watched what happened in Egypt over the last several weeks--"

WG: "You should freak out. You seriously should freak out."

  • This is bs. It wasn't keyboards...it was courage.

  • thank you very much "Wael Ghoneim", you are the driving force of the revolution in EGYPT ... by the youth EGYPT's great ... and that will impact the whole world to see change in EGYPT very soon now ... it will show the face of the sons of EGYPT and his actions and Will not see the faces of the traitors ... We brought down the enemies, and will promote EGYPT by her sons .....

  • Any new treaties should have human rights as a requirement.

The Canadian Muslim Union Charter would be a good starting point - since all Constitutions need a charter of rights.

Look up Naomi Klein, Judy Rebick. Look up Naomi Klein's father-in-law Stephen Lewis (Avi's dad) - the foundation has a good summary video. Egypt has grandfathers as well as grandmothers. Israel is the enemy not Jews - and if they want Egyptian gas they got to start treating their neibhours better.

  • "Their 18 day revolution began with...Twitter and Facebook...by kids with keyboards"

  • Internet will save us !

  • If you like freedom in Egypt, thank the Jews at Facebook.

  • @rachelgolem should we also thank the Jews in Washington for backing up Mubarak?

  • @aymanshalaby1 Why make it a Jew thing? What about the WASPs in Washington? What about the black Commander-in-Chief and the black female UN Ambassador? I hate the reprehensible actions of Israel but this racist bs is counterproductive.

  • @18bites I was replying to a comment saying " Egyptians should thank the Jews for providing them the technology to make their revolution happens" (i.e. Referring to FB jewish founder, Zuckerberg)

  • @aymanshalaby1 Sorry. I didn't know you were sparring with a Zionist troll.

  • @aymanshalaby1

The JEWS not only provided ......................but also...............

What a stupid comment. Every zionist think all on the basis of race.Zionists are crazed white people who think they're God's chosen people and they have the right to abuse and hate any and all non-Jews.

  • @rachelgolem They didn't create Facebook to make this happen... Shouldn't Jews thank Muslims for letting them live while they kill their neighbours and steal their lands???
