HJ É O MEU ANIVERSÁRIO E SABE O QUE EU GOSTARIA DE GANHAR???

UM LUGAR PRA ASSISTIR TEU SHOW E VC CANTANDO KENTUCKY RAIN PRA MIM!!!

    LINDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

  • Awesome! Elvis may be the King of old style rock and role, but he's also really good as a country singer, on level with Johnny Cash, Weylon Jennings, Don Williams, and others!

  • I grew up on Elvis, yes I'm an old man, I'm from Kentucky, Elvis was born Jan. 8th, I was born Jan 9th. I have seen the girls in the audience watch him, and have never seen any girls literally faint all over the audience from any other performer, because of the love they had for him. He had it all. I have never seen any performer connect with their audience like Elvis did. He did die of a broken heart, regardless if it was drugs or not. There will never be another Elvis. God Bless Elvis

  • @mrfun2bwit

I can easily believe you...the Elvis is King! Season Greetings from Europe up north, Finland, at the latest frontier of human, Gmies1010

  • @bodacious2109

Elvis vs. Michael Jackson? In my opinion a fruitless discussion. Both were great.

King of Rock´n´Roll the one, King of Pop the other...everybody can live with that.

    And Jesus...yes, i´ve heard Jesus is a big Elvis-fan...

  • @xxxdokan Are you talking about your yard guy, De Jesus Hernandez? But the real Jesus is all our fans... and like I sais 'The Kang wasn't badd either. He worked the crowds.

  • This song is about this college girl of the University of Kentucky who left him for a Florida Gator football player. On their bedroom wall was left a sad but never ending message that later killed the fella.

    It read: Go 'GATORS!!

  • WOW man, Elvis had girls wetting there pants for a kiss. Elvis Rulez

  • wish there were more people that could have a significant voice and leave something of the same as elvis did. almost noone anymore listens to elvis. its to bad. elvis will always be the king.

  • So full of life. if only we could turn back the clock

  • MM was the King of Pop, but THIS IS only "THE KING"! In the past, in the present and future.

  • NO Micheal Is The King Of Pop! BUT ELVIS Is The KING PERIOD! Micheal Said ELVIS Is The King And He IS And ALWAYS WILL Be!

  • Little country boy from the south became the King of Rock n Roll now thats classic. Music has not been the same since his death. Sure miss him.

  • michael jackson is dead ELVIS PRESLEY IS STILL ALIVE.

  • @coolbatek do you know his blood type? I do :P

  • ilove

  • God blessed him with so much talent. He knew that, but like so many of us we're not sure the direction to go. I can only be sure of the Bible's truth. That God's mercy is greater than we could ever imagine.

  • I love Elvis' laugh...it's infectious and just plain wonderful but his voice...absolutely amazing!

  • Live Elvis is best.I love how he can laugh and changes the words to songs but still comes out sounding great.

  • WOW! To think in 40 short years we went from this to ...the Jonas Brothers.

  • This is among my top 3 Elvis:

    Suspicious Minds

    Kentucky Rain

    If I Can Dream

  • Best singer of all time.

  • my favourite elvis song.

  • THE MAN !

  • not hard drinks like vodka, just soft ones like coke - great artist anyhow!

  • isnt it illegal to tape a concert ? anyway we love you elvis and we always will

  • @DaGr8Taz No. Artist Management companies do it all the time. Which is what this sounds like. The quality is about par for the time this was performed, and is much better than a bootleg version would be.

  • @DaGr8Taz This is a soundboard recording, official one.

  • @DaGr8Taz It's not illegal. It's only illegal if you try to sell it without permission.

  • @DaGr8Taz It's not illegal to tape a concert. It's illegal to sell it.

  • Beautiful song...

  • AGREE!

  • what year is this?

  • 2009 duh!

  • Smart ass! I'm laughing my ass off!

  • it was recorded live c. 1969

  • @brokenheros9 Either 1970 or 1971, possibly 1969, probably 1971.

  • great live sound, cant beat it

  • Very great song...

    Really like this live version...:o)

  • Him cracking up makes me laugh. :) <3

In a good way, haha! This is one of my favourite songs.

  • Interesting statement after the song. "Tough way to make a living." His sarcasm tells me that he had to make a living and watched his parents make a living before all his fame. You know, I think after he got out of that hollywood bs and went back on stage, he related to the audience that he performed for. You never forget where you come from.

  • The "tough way to make a living" was said right after he had just kissed a bunch of girls. It was a joke about kissing all of the girls. ;)

  • While Eddie Rabbit actually wrote the song, Elvis was wise enough to grab it and perform it to perfection.

  • Wonder what made him crack up so bad? :)

  • Good question. Peter Guralnick's books on Elvis are very interesting and answer many questions. I got the feeling he was a shy, insecure kid from a small town and poor background who didn't have many real and true friends. When he really started to question his life, through reading books and looking for other answers by going outside his little group, the Colonel got the group to talk Elvis out of such influences. A lonely life.

  • Excellent version. Never hear a live version of KR live before, works well.

  • I'm starting to figure it out. Elvis was a smart ass! I love it!

  • Amen!:)

  • amazing live performance

  • I loved it when he laughed. It was like, yes I'm the best, but damn I still have a sense of humor. I would've loved to had a beer with the guy.

  • How lovely to here him laughing R.I.P Elvis PDL xX

  • Sing that song baby!!!!!

  • I think It´s almost Impossible to get a hold of this record were I live or maybe it´s sold out or something you can´t get It In ordinary stores I´ll have to settle with listening on youtube I guess

  • WoW! I thought I had heard all of Elvis' versions of this....but this one is rare? Very exciting to hear this...thanks for posting. I have posted my cover version here in case anyone would like to hear it...hope you enjoy it!

  • R I P

    LONG LIVE THE KING!

  • Elvis is amazing. KR is a masterpiece!

  • I grew up on his music, saw him on Ed Sullivan 1956, I was a boy of 10, he was everyting to me, I just wished he never left us too soon, and on my birthday, I fogive him, and will always love his music

  • Elvis is awesome. He's incredible. He is one of the few people who sound excellent live, just like on the album. I love you Elvis! Miss ya tons!

  • another true treasure by the greatest king of all time!!!

  • great song.... elvis the king...!!!

  • What year did this song come out? I can't remember.Was 1970?

  • I think it was 1970.

  • He was the best ever !

  • God Bless Elvis

  • beautiful ! Elvis he's the best ! GOD !

  • i missed my chance to see him live in 73, but later in life i worked for eddie rabbit and eddie would do the song every show.and make sure the crowd knew he wrote it.

  • I like Eddie Rabbit. I hope he was honored that Elvis did such a fabulous job with the song he wrote..............

  • kentucky rain .. that's a nice song specially when Elvis sing this song .. what a song you really need a water Elvis to make this girl screammmmmmm

  • great song..great performance..is the king!!!!

  • the one and only...never again

  • He still has the Women going out of our minds. I'll always love him.

  • Even when Elvis would fuck up it was awesome. He was a true entertainer, had the women going out of their minds.

There will never be another all round entertainer like the King jack.

  • The best!

    Love him!!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • elvis é exatamente elvis, sem explicações...

  • yea elvis go go go go elvis

  • i cant believe it.better than the studio version.thank for this one.

  • This Song Has So much Stalking potential _Love it !

  • I don't know why, but the name Joann always comes to mind when I hear this song.

  • shawent & bfoster I completely agree, his life was cut short & it shouldnt have been. He was so young & could have made so many more great songs & records. When he performed you could tell thats what he loved to do. He had such a demanding presence onstage that you couldn't help but pay attention & love him!! I'm glad when he was alive he made so many great records, he will be alive in our hearts forever!!

May you rest in peace Elvis! You will always be our KING!!!

  • I understand what you are saying bfoster, but I wouldnt call his a waste of a life.Yes its so sad that his life was tragically cut short but thankfully he has left a legacy of beautiful songs and images for us all to remember him by.God bless him and may he rest in eternal peace.

  • Every time I listen to Elvis or watch a video, I feel sad that his life was cut so short....by him. He could have had a great life, but he was too weak to overcome what all his fame and money brought. He loved Priscella and she loved him, but just couldn't live like that anymore. The divorce was the one thing Elvis never got over. What a waste of a life.

  • wouldn't call it a waste he did a lot for folks less fortunate then himself. He was a great human and a great entertainer

    LONG LIVE THE KING

  • The piano player on this song went on to have a very successful singing career:-)

  • Changeofhabbit, can you download some pictures.........

I love this onstage version, but it would be better with video. Thanks for sharing though.

    Long live the King.

  • Love it!

    Thanks!!

    George Vreeland Hill

  • Yeah. I live in Memphis. I LOVE graceland.

  • Holaaa! no saben en que album ( cd ) sale esta cancion?¿? por favor diganmeee! : )

Please someone knows the name of the album where this song appears : ) thank you

  • i'm crying

  • Elvis simply the best singer ever, case closed.

  • he was the best.i love elvis.

  • I love it when he changes the words&starts laughing while singing :)

  • i was six when he died , its a day i will never forget , but i will never forget the song he did , all of them or his voice , he was a great performer and will be missed !

  • OMG, what a beautiful voice !!!

  • Love this version, Elvis seem to have hicups and by the end just couldnt help himself. Elvis had one of those laughs when he laughed u just had to laugh with him

  • r u catholic elvis if u are cool!!!!!

  • never saw water incident, but back in columbus,oh our morning deejays had all kinds of elvis things they played.my fav was when elvis was plastered and was talking about percilla and some guy she was fooling around with.wish i could hear that again

  • i've never heard that and Elvis didn't get plastered...his mom had a drinking problem and he didn't allow liquor in his presence.. true fact

  • watch some of the dvd,s his tipple was straight vodka before a show (elvis that,s the way it is)

  • actually no he didn't I've seen that's the way it is countless times and not once did I see Elvis drinking Vodka... I'm telling you he didn't drink at all FACT

  • i only have two dvd,s maybe your version different but it,s just before a show he says to the camera straight vodka it,s good for you i dont think it aloha from hawaii..

  • Yes, but he was joking about the vodka. Usually in 1970's he drank energy drinks during the concerts.

  • He was a gatorade man.

  • @bonnie0771 It's definitely not Aloha.

  • @bonnie0771 The Vodka joke is from "That's The Way It Is" Special Edition...1970...The Comment isn't in the Original Version... He drank water or Gatorade on stage.

  • @bonnie0771 that was from that sthe way it is and he was only joking . he was always clowning around on stage like that. people that arent elvis fans think he is stiff and just sings. real elvis fans know elvis had the worlds greatest sense of humor and would make a dead man piss his pants laughing with things he wpuld say or do. his laugh was contagious and you cant help but laugh with him. listen to the laughing version of are you lonesome tonight amoung other funny outtakes of his

  • @bonnie0771 it was backstage for That's THe Way It Is, in 1970, his return t performing right after the 68 special and 69 vegas shows. Though I think he was just joking, it was probably water.

  • I don't believe Elvis drank or smoked.

  • I think he smoked the odd cigar, I am sure I have a photo of him and Tom Jones smoking together with Scilla looking on... from around 67-68

  • Comment removed

  • I think the thing with the vodka was just a joke.

  • i will never love someone as much as i love Elvis he is great !

  • your right!!!!!!!!!!

  • ELVIS is god for me...

  • i sure wish i knew what he wanted to laugh at>Did elvis have his buzz on or what

  • I think fooled around and kind of a sing it to Charlie Hodge as he used to do sometimes. Not sure, but that's my guess.

  • He said old gray bearded fool instead of man (the correct lyric)and started laughing.

  • I love that too. Elvis is so humorous....

    Long live the King.

    Happy New Year everyone.

  • did you see when he threw water on charlie in concert?

  • Ther's a lot of accion there...

    SEE YA...

  • great video..great song!!

    10* for this great video..

    thanks for sharing jamie
