problem with DADADD tuning is that the G-string will break when bringing it UP to an A after a couple of times. Even gauge 0.23 will break. I used guage 0.16 on the G-string to be able to play this song but it didn't sound really good.

@AyaneIchimonji It's a CPX 900. It's a great guitar if you need to plug in for live. The electronics sound very natural. The lower range models have cheaper electronics. Comfortable, easy to play, quite slim neck,... I guess it depends what you're after. Thanks for the feedback :-)

Hmm i'd basically have to decide between getting an expensive acoustic or an expensive les paul if i went over $500 on my acoustic budget. I saw an awesome sounding breedlove guitar for only $300, if only they made smaller body styles like this though (it was a dreadnaught)

Heh, I tried tuning to DADADD with some 11 gauge and the 2nd string let go. It had been going flat/sharp then in-tune for the past couple days with standard tuning. I'm gonna get a couple fresh sets of 12 gauge and try again. Thanks for uploading this lesson.

@soldier93rus Not for sure but it is a risk, especially if the strings are old. The main danger is on the G sting brought up to A. :-)
