@CamNM1991 No, I've had this mouse since I posted this video and the Graphic has not shown wear at all. So yeah I think it is chemically treated into the plastic.

Here in Brazil, a Razer Mouse costs R$500,00, it is something like $250,00 or more.

A few places selling the mouse do not mention the 2012 at all, but yet

the RZ01-00350300-R3M1 designation is the same. I tried looking up if there is a 2011 model

as BF3 has been out for 5 months now, so I was wondering if you were familiar with any changes or why they are or NOT mentioning the 2012 date if the numbers are the same. (not that you would know why they are not mentioning, but if it is new or not) I want to be careful that I am getting what I want.

@ctguy1955 There isn't a BF3 2011 version lol, That's why they don't mention the date. Anyway the Bf3 Imperator is the same as the 2012 Imperator, Just with a graphic and the texture on the side is a bit different.

I Always purchase my stuff straight from the maker. So I know I'm not getting sold a counterfeit. But yeah, Thank you for the feedback and enjoy your Imperator when it arrives.

@gordon5cc Its NOT the same as the 2012 version at all, the BF3 is a repackaged version of the old one. The 2012 ver. has ruberized grip. BIG difference. I unfortuantly fucked up and brought this home and cant return it now. Off to Bunnings for me to get some rubber tape and fuck with a top shelf mouse.

I just ordered the bf3 2012 edition on amazon for 64 bucks with two day shipping. Ive already downloaded the newer drivers and firmware, and look forward to trying this baby out !! I like bf3 so much, I upgraded my video card just for the game, so I could see who I was shooting at !! I find that at 57 years old, I cant see em as well as when I was younger, and doing a 60% field of view really helped as well as getting a EVGA 580 3 gig GPU.

I have a Corsair M60/ Razer Diamondback/ Logitech MX 518 and I tried out the

rat7 and returned it. I bought the M60 for the sniper button, but my hands cant reach

it well. Im hoping that because of the adjustable nature of the two side buttons,

I will be able to make it into a sniper type button for BF3.

@ctguy1955 Thank you for the feedback, And yes the Rat-7 does look like a piece of S*** Haha, I've heard a lot of bad reviews on it.

But yeah you should have no problem making the Adjustable buttons on the Imperator into a sniper button. With the handy driver GUI they give you it makes making macro's extremely easy.

I've made my macro type the Code to funky town on Skype chat before haha.

I've been using the mouse vigorously since I bought it (Day before this video) And it still works like new.

@faqx123 I can´t tell you what to decide, but my Imperator is awesome and never had problems so far, I have it for more than 4 months

@faqx123 Sorry but I have Absolutely no experience in the Steelseries range. Although from what I just read on their site it looks although they're trying to avoid telling you about the ACTUAL specifications. And not just a description. So I think Razer is more honest about that part. I also think you may get more bang for your buck with Razer an in the event it breaks they have a 2 year warranty on all wired mouse products. I suppose it comes down to your own choice and experience though.

@MREWIL95 I Haven't used that mouse personally but by the look of it the Imperator is around the same size, Maybe a bit shorter. But the specs of the Imperator are sky heigh compared to that logitech.

@gordon5cc well my buddy has one and ive used it a bit.. maybe its just his lol. I have many bad experiences with razer so maybe im just a little upset but.. ive never had issues with logitech :P and they sure feel sturdy

@thugricanz Aha, This is a very relevant point. From my experience using it, it fits me pretty well perfectly. Compared to the basic mouses the Imperator is quite large and i felt the difference in weight and size when I first went to use it. I guess it depends on how big your talking. The first thing you'l notice (Varying between hand sizes) is the pinky and its friend are likely to be rubbing against a mat, Because of the slope of the mouse.

@thugricanz Because the mouse is designed to have two fingers on the right click. If you manage to feel comfortable doing that you'll have no problem though.

If you go to Best buy, you can buy a really nice gaming pad made by "Rocketfish" IMO, it's = to a Razer. However, I paid only 15 bucks for it, and it's awesome. :)
