  • knopfler is king

  • buon sonoro,complimenti .

  • Kiko Loureiro, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, AL Di MEola, Allan Holdsworth, Greg Howe, Guthrie Govan are 100000 better that MArk Knopfler

  • @colpoinfernaleomicid why did you go on to a mark knopfler video to say that other guitarists are better than him? Have you heard the solos to tunnel of love or sultans of swing? There's probably a reason why Mark Knopfler still sells out arenas across the world (i'm going to see him and bob dylan next week!!), and also why brothers in arms is one of the most successful albums ever. I doubt the reason is because Knopflers rubbish. I think, in fact it might be the opposite.

  • @rockgod8000 I would inclined to strongly agree with every word!

  • @colpoinfernaleomicid how about you take that comment ... and gtfo... weakass troll. I do agree that all the above mentioned are good...hell they are great! But do not compare them to MK. They are different...not better.

  • awesome thanks!

  • stunning!

  • I admit I haven't kept up with all his career until recently and so this may be a dumb question. His red guitar early on had such a unique sound. Anybody know when or why he changed? Obviously the style is all Mark and I can recognize it right away but the sound of his old red guitar had a sound all its own and I was wondering when and why he changed.

  • @hornbacker I saw him on concert about 3 years ago, and as I can remember, he played his red-white stratocaster. I guess, he uses this Les Paul only for a few songs, but I'm not sure.

  • @hornbacker Mark Knopfler plays a massive variety of guitars, each has its own sound for it's own songs.

  • @hornbacker That red guitar(I cant remember if it was a stratocaster or telecaster) was given to Guy Fletcher as a gift for his birthday :)

  • sound quality is very good. nice song :)

  • I always thought they were singing" Sometimes I miss my river time" True, it fit exactly into the way I was feeling at the thyme...you may all groan now)
