I find those kind of contests really weird but beauty competitons for kids is truly disturbing. (And this is coming from someone with a huge soft spot for kids)

My friend told me that this girl who had been in those things since she was 4 had gotten anorexia at the time she was 7. (Her parents knew and saw it as a good thing)
