  • dat racism

  • Thumb up if you still love the disney movies since you were a little child.

  • In Soviet Russia, flowers pick YOU!

  • i love the shrooms thre soo cute

  • While this interpretation is supposed to have nothng to do with the ballet, you can clearly see that they drew inspiration from it, especially with the Chinese Dance and Russian Dance sequences.

  • i think its the only Disneys picture that will not suffer of a new dubbing...the last ones, with "new voices" are simply a shame (in latin spanish)

  • I just rolled a fat one and clicked on this.

Fuck yeah. I really wish Disney would do something as fearless and remarkable as this again. Not including the last Fantasia in 2000. It was great, but this one was mindblowing.

  • And speaking of "Fantasia", I went to the UPAC earlier tonight and saw "The Nutcracker" and I loved it. Excellent show, and I enjoyed it so much. As for the scene from "Fantasia" this has nothing to do with the ballet. I have the 3-LP soundtrack from 1957, the 1991 VHS and the 2010 Blu-Ray/DVD version. I'll have to go back and watch the sequence.

  • when i was little this movie would make me fall asleep :3

... the Dancing Mushrooms scare me O_o ...

  • I still watch this on VHS

  • nothing beats watching this whole movie on vhs

  • @melloe I still have my copy from 98' that I got when i was a kid(:

  • Instructions: pause clip at 8:46 to find a hidden mickey face in the bubbles!

  • @TotalPirateLuvva: The last part of the Suite is called, "Waltz of the Flowers" In the full-length ballet that number precedes (not directly) the number which opens the suite in the film: "Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy" For "Fantasia", the order of the different movements of the Suite were re-arranged.

IIRC, this is the actual running-order of the suite:

    Miniature Overture

    March

    Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy

    Chinese Dance

    Arabian Dance

    Russian Dance

    Dance of the Reeds

    Waltz of the Flowers
