    Not exactly in our case. It is true that a shift register can shift out pixels for overlay of the video. The content is another story. This particular unit however receives and decodes an IRIG time signal and is sycronized to it to within 1 microsecond. The time overlayed on the video is precisely timed to the virtical sync to each of the channels independently. This unit can receive and display inputs for each channel independently and post events time tagged to the occurance.

  • @ITSinfo Sorry, i didn't know that... Ah, i see now, it does not count the frames/half-frames, but in fact microseconds. Just out of curiousity... Do you use a MCUs SPI-port, an external shifter or another external logic?
