I remembered when this aired on tv, tears came to my eyes when she surprise Stephanie with the cast from rent. Rosie is often times misunderstood and people never get to see the great things that she does away from television with kids. She is one person who as always being a strong advocate for kids and say what you want about her but you can never say she is not a woman of compassion, love, caring, conscience about real people and real issues. Rosie rocks in my book!!!!!!!!!
Say what you want about her, but this really shows how much of a huge heart Rosie actually has. Whenever I'm having a rough day, I can watch this video and it makes me feel better.

One of my best friends had CF and just watching her PT sessions and how they had to basically beat the hell out of her just to clear her lungs and keep her breathing was heart-wrenching. She died at 27,which means she made it longer than most,but back it meant not much of a life because she was in and out of the hospital as often as most ppl change their underwear. How dare you suggest YOUR cause is more worthy than this hers?

Well....I found a lot of stories on Hurricane Katrina.....but nowhere did I see ANY mention of Rosie donating money or time to the Sickle-Cell Anemia Foundation. She will only support charities that help white girls (and then only if she can get her face some more media exposure).

Most families including my own are affected by one or more. I imagine Rosie receives 1000's of solicitations for donations,as most celebs and people with money do,and has to allocate the best she can. To trash her because she did not choose to endorse or support the one YOU care most about is hardly fair. She has given away a greater % of her worth than most,and if you do not know that,then she is hardly the publicity seeker you accuse her of being,is she?

One of my best friends had CF and just watching her PT sessions and how they had to basically beat the hell out of her just to clear her lungs and keep her breathing was heart-wrenching. She died at 27,which means she made it longer than most,but back it meant not much of a life because she was in and out of the hospital as often as most ppl change their underwear. How dare you suggest YOUR cause is more worthy than this hers?

This is Awesome! Rosie does gr8 things for people - especially kids & all some people can do is put her down take her words & twist the heck out of them.
From the mother of a soldier serving a 2nd tour in less then 2 years, I support our Troops 100% but I can see how the people of Iraq probably view us.
I hope you all pray to God, or Thank your lucky stars each night that you live in America and aren't an innocent cilivian in Iraq. We're all human beings with feelings and families.

I was military once too,and I remember how the returning Vietnam vets were treateded. The young are smarter now,and hopefully most Americans understand that despising this damned war and the greedy bastards who got un into it has no bearing on our love of and support for our soldiers.
