  • Is this pedal any good for White Stripes/Black Keys music? Like Seven Nation Army

  • why is this douche playing chords?

  • HEY IDIOTS! THIS IS A MONOPHONIC OCTAVE PEDAL! Which means it only works with one note at the time.

  • so which octave pedal does the best job turning a guitar into bass?

  • @MeanGreenMovies Probably the EHX POG, but this one is 3 times less the price

  • 1:26 - 2:30 is very similar to "Freya" by the Sword. Anyway, this is quite the peculiar demo for this pedal.

  • What's with all the chord jangle, you must realise this pedal doesn't track chords ?

  • Bad demo, why play chords with this pedal?

That is for riffs and solos.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • This glitches!! Pog is to expansive.. What octave pedal should i get?? :(

  • What octave are you looking for? A sub octave like this, or other upper octaves as well? For good tracking, the Micro POG is your cheapest option, that I know of (this is of course going by the price of a new unit). The Boss PS-5 is similarly priced, at least where I am. Try and find a used Micro-POG, I'd say.

  • @Weltar Boss OC-3 has the option to track chords, also there's the EHX Micro POG wich is a really neat option and cheaper then the actual POG

  • Are you Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage?

  • This>>>>>Blue Box.

  • this pedal ruined my speakers twice! ahhh

  • I imagine it's supposed to be earlier in the effects chain than he's got it. Sounds cool.

  • i imagine the demo person is playing chords to show people that it's not meant to take chords. i'm after a simple octave pedal and this seems like just what i'm after. tracking seems good, and the naff fuzz-octave thing sounds pretty good too.. i imagine it would sound great before a thick fuzz or something.....

  • analogue octavers don't track chords. the demo dude is welcome to point that out, but he spends an awful lot of time proving an already well-known fact. during which we do not learn anything about the pedal, which makes it a waste of time.

  • indeed! i agree. what a strange demo.

  • Why would you play chords when you know it's not working? That's just stupid! You don't play chords with a MONO synth either, or complain that you can not play chords with a saxophone.

  • I tried this pedal for myself and just didn't dig it all too much. Not that it wouldn't work well for some things but I'm sure there's better Octave pedals out there.

  • ...The POG is that better octave pedal.

  • yea no the best pedal to play chords with lol

  • i hate that noise that it is making at the start
