Ur really great at the instruction videos:) you've helped me with so many projects that I'm working on. At the moment I'm starting my business up for bootie shoes for toddlers and thanks to you, you showed me multiple ways of crocheting. Thank you so much. XOXO michelle XOXO
i'm not sure of something here. after i finish the first row of the half double stitch and turn the row, should i insert the hook under the higher loop of the v or under both loops of the v?
thank you so much i was so confused to even what it was! half of double should be single...and it is...only prepared like a double! :D this is so easy
thank you very much!! I was sent an absolutely ADORABLE pattern for a dinosaur hoodie (for my 2yr old son) and it's made with HDC.. haven't done those yet and this video is VERY helpful!
So, yarn over, put through and pull up stitch on needle,, then yarn over again and pull through all three loops. Got it. I was forgetting to yarn over the first time. Your videos are so clear. Thank you.
you know, I've got to tell you... I try to follow the instructions in these books... but they are worthless. I have become a crocheting machine since I have found youtube more helpful. I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and am thrilled that I have successfully been able to complete a blanket for my baby girl (before she arrives). Thanks for such clear instructions
Very easy directions to the half double crochet!! I have been crocheting for years and almost embarassed to sya this, but I never know what or how to do the half double crochet.thanks again!!!! god bless!! ;-)
You are welcome! You just go into the next stitch. The first stitch is the only one you skip chain stitches for unless your pattern tells you otherwise.
Thank you that was very helpful and easy to understand

If a pattern doesn't tell you to skip the 3 ch stitches, do you?
meowgannett 1 year ago
@meowgannett Yes you do - that is just an understood rule and it won't be reiterated in instructions.

Do you stip three stitches every time you repeat? Or is it just for the first stitch?
FaselyTrue 1 year ago 2
@FaselyTrue You always do this for the first stitch on each row. It's to keep the stitches from puckering.

When you are going into your second stitch, do you use the second crochet over, like the first time, or do you still go into the second one over?
Thanks for all these super helpful videos!! I love learning new stitches (:
