  • Cool....I dont understood anything!!! lol

  • Cool experiment. Will have to do something like that too.

Look at my 27 Volts Energizer battery creating an under water arc at 230 Volts test voltage.

  • Are all MOT's around 2 kv?

    (mine killed a 5kv fuse)

  • Most are around 2100V, but a few rare ones from "industrial" ovens exist which might be ~3kV.

  • is that a microwave transformer???

  • yes it is

  • nice work...how many watts are you using?

  • it was around 700VA

  • I would think it would be hydrolyzing the water and igniting the hydrogen, but a hydrogen flame is characteristically red.

Maybe something about a higher concentration of oxygen and the gas ionizing and making a bigger arc than air, which is nearly 3/4 nitrogen.

Possibly something to do with ozone. Have no idea what though...

  • it sounds like a warning then an arc... BRRR,BRRR..*CRAKLE*

  • Looks like a cold fusion to me!

    watch?v=uMFvzohuVew

  • i think it may be a primitive form of Water Atomization :)

but to do proper Water Atomization you need distilled water which has a much higher break down voltage and when you pulse like 10000 volts from large cap the water explodes xD

but i am not 100% sure

  • Change ''power mot'' by MOT supply. sorry ;)

  • Nice!

But we could fill your power MOT, I don't know if you're going to get better results with this, but if a good explosion in your water!
