you should try avast 6 free edition + comodo firewall free. It's one of the best combinations, and it only takes maximum 20MB of RAM(when they update it takes more like 60-70 but only for a few seconds)!

Because people like to play games and use software built for PC. I own a Macbok Pro and get around 44% better gaming performance using my Windows partition on it. So yeah. Im on windows a lot. I like to torrent. Windows has the best latest torrenting software... Mac is great for video editing, and thats pretty much all i use it for. oh yeah, and to get updates for my windows 7.

@TheShadowBrigade Yes.It is light, provides real time protection but when the files of Microsoft comes it sends report to Microsoft and immediately security update comes and your office or windows if they are not genuine are not usable.Recently I had a worm win32BB@chir which both MSE and Avira could not remove.I recommend you to get Norton Internet Security 2011,turn off its tempering and autoprotect and run resetter to get 366 days.Then update it.OK

MSE detected much more, it just categorized them to 2 and you should click the show all button to see the real number of those that were detected and those that were removed
