I find it kind of funny that in these flashbacks, they don't have Amy wearing her typical clothes--short skirts, trendy tops, and the occasional leather jacket. It's like they're trying to make her look more maternal with the conservative sweater and bun to contrast her and Mels to show that even though Amy was the typical Peter Pan archetype who never wanted to grow up, she still acted like a mother for Mels.

Honestly, this was my favorite episode of the season. I loved the little flashback to how they all react. Amy's real life cousin does an excellent portrayal of a young Amy Pond, including her mannerisms. Honestly, I believe that I would support a show based on Amy and Rory alone. I love their stories.
