Whenever you lose Pikmin, do you feel sad for the individuals, or Pikmin as a whole? The game is designed for you to lose track of the individual Pikmin and instead appreciate the entire army.

Well again, its a game. Secondly, i think in the first series, olimar actually feels really guilty for letting a large group die. All the enemys are their natural preditors, so they are gonna get killed by them anyways. Luckly you aint serious and just saying alll these things for shits and giggles. techincally, in pikmin 2, olimar was sorta forced against his will to survive (again) to use the pikmin. what happens when you lose your job? no money, no food, DEADNESS.

besides, you need to look at it from a more peaceful perspective. the pikmin (as said in pikmin 1) kinda treated olimar as a father figure. like the queen of a colony of ants. personally, i see the pikmin as friends. no offense, but i don't like that fact that you disrespect my fav series. ticks me off man. =/
