The investigating offer needed to verify that Gates lived at the residence. That means checking his identification and further asking some additional questions. I have learned not to call the police. I can file a report myself at the station and I had to bug the courthouse to file a criminal complaint since the police were not interested in stolen checks (that were cashed) burglarized from my home during another crime. I could go on with other incidents. Police departments should train in customer service of some sort to know what it feels like to be a victim of a crime.
In my case the police acted as if I deserved getting hit in the head with a crowbar during a robbery in Boston while working as a store clerk. They respond when they get around to it, like 45 minutes later, and the incident is moot for a "search of suspects" as stated in the police report. Police treat all individuals as suspects because they treat or question the victim the same as they would question a suspect.

One can only hope that the years are good for the officer, and that one day, when he's a tiny, wizened old wisp of a man, he's confronted by a bullying police officer who won't take, "I've fully complied with your demands... why are you still here?" as reasonable ENOUGH. Then she should tase him to death.

Lucia Whalen, a good citizen reported to the 911 operator that she thought one man was Hispanic and did not get a good look at the other man at all. She also said that they might live there and be locked out and mentioned that she saw luggage. (Gates just arrived home from China.)
Crowley lied in his police report and claimed Whalen saw two black men with backpacks enter the home.

I have learned not to call the police. I can file a report myself at the station and I had to bug the courthouse to file a criminal complaint since the police were not interested in stolen checks (that were cashed) burglarized from my home during another crime. I could go on with other incidents. Police departments should train in customer service of some sort to know what it feels like to be a victim of a crime.

They respond when they get around to it, like 45 minutes later, and the incident is moot for a "search of suspects" as stated in the police report. President Bush's stimulus put money in the hands of people to spend and stimulate the economy. President OBama's socalled "stimulus" was about paying off the folks who got him elected. It bailed out governments, not people.
Medicare is not "vastly successful". The government decides what a procedure should cost and then only pays the providers 80% of that. Who do you think pays the difference? Why are providers dropping Medicare patients and no longer accept the assignment payment?

One can only hope that the years are good for the officer, and that one day, when he's a tiny, wizened old wisp of a man, he's confronted by a bullying police officer who won't take, "I've fully complied with your demands... why are you still here?" as reasonable ENOUGH. Obama should have kept his mouth SHUT on this issue-he has opened up a can of worms-OR is this a ploy to make Americans forget 10% to 20% are currently UNEMPLOYED and the country's economy is flushing steadily down the toilet.
