Ive had SUCH a similar experience with the mushrooms I had. I knew what my dog was thinking and feeling so vividly its was scary at the time...but as I grew older everything came into place perfectly. I want to thank you so much for sharing. This will help put things into perspective for people who are confused about their experience. Everything IS family oriented and that's where the love is....I truly felt ashamed of all the rebellion from my parents, were so close now its unreal <3madthanks!!
You are breathing in millions of spores every time you take a breath in. If you ever need help with an ID on a species of fungi I can help, I am an amateur mycologist for ten years. Sorry I made the first post about Paul stamets before you mentioned him :) If you have not seen 6 ways mushrooms can save the world check that out here on youtube.
That is not magic, that is what God intended the certain mushrooms you ate to do. God made them so that we can have experiences like what you are talking about. I used to trip and I stopped when I was taken out of my body by an Angel and told that God/Jesus was the path to eternal life, I was shown what was waiting for me when I died. After that I felt like I would be abusing them if I ever took them again. It changed my life in incredible ways. Also read Paul Stamets and Andrew Weil.
...oh maaaan. This video is mindblowing! Not only the sacred things you speak of but the WAY you speak is truly engaging. I was transfixed and deeply moved throughout...
Why do people seem to think playing music in the background of their video lends added weight to what they are saying?
You're right, it is easy to downplay the experiences of other people. Maybe it's because you aren't subjectively biased to the same extent, in the same way.
Hmm- sometimes music DOES add impact and other times it is distracting- here it is simply beautiful- it works! At least, it works for me. I want to comment on the video itself but I want to watch it a few times-- digest it, take it in slowly.
@HeidiIvy I agree that it can add impact, on an emotional level, but it can never improve the actual content of the message. Maybe it makes it more palatable, though, so I can't say it isn't useful - it just doesn't tend to sway me, personally.
crows/ravens all these scavengers are recyclers and reflect rebirth of nature. Maybe they heard your friends pain and were their to help you heal. and the black is not negative but reflective of time and our lack of it. it helps them hide from owls at night, it's stillness. all the cover of leaves under there recycling and composting goes on.
Thanks. I've never taken mushrooms before but I definitely want to. I would need to be in the proper mindset, and I'm thinking spring might just do it.
Maybe I'll connect with the life and death of my father, and become a better person. I'd love to settle with that, and make it a good experience since it's been a rough ride after he died. I do want to connect, I've never really connected with people, or things. Only with playing guitar, and listening to music
It can be an amazing experience. And yes, a powerful medicine that should be treated with respect. Perhaps one day it will be treated with the respect it once was, as a medicine and a tool. It is good to see you again, Austin, I hope you are well.
awesome video, mushrooms are extremely powerful and wonderful, but i highly recommend taking them in a warm, natural setting, with a positive mindset, and at least six hours to experience, and with a good friend.
Thanks for sharing that. Lot's of food for thought. I've never tripped before but I'd like to fast some day and vision quest. Did I ever tell you my story of the shadow on the tree? The closest thing I've ever had to a mystical experience.
Thanks bro. Touching video. What a great experience.

Sounds very much how Daniel Quinn describes it in Providence, life glowing with 'the fire'.
This was an amazing story. I'm going to be embarking on that journey for the first itme soon. I'm very excited!

RE: "leave piles of the leaves on the ground"
Mushrooms grow in the decaying matter. Are you sure that the mushrooms didn't co-opt you?
Not that it would necessarily be a bad thing... but you are human, right?
Now you've seen. Try to speaking to the stone. They are our elders.... millions of years.
Thanks for this. Please be careful.

The mushrooms were conspiring in our favor and their own of course.
