Korg KAOSSILATOR and PRO when it comes to money? Like Buying the DSi XL along with this program, which would be like 230 dollars total. Is the money worth it?

well, if you buy a dsi XL then you can also use it for video games. there are a bunch of great ds titles to choose from.

Does this still only have 16 patterns like the DS-10? I found that to be a little restrictive when transposing songs from a piano score sheet or a tab book for example.

It will work on both, but it will have more features on the DSi. (Better sound card)

The DS-10 Plus is optimized for the DSi, but is can be played on the regular DS. It just won't have all of the features on the regular DS.

Thanks! I'm shocked GameStop even carried the regular DS-10. Before the release I would check in with G-Stop regulary to see if they'd be getting them. Everytime I got this response "Dude never heard of it". I ended up getting my DS-10 at Amazon. I'll be buying the new version for sure :)

Yeah, I had to get the original version from Amazon too. Based on what I heard, retailers are actually going to carry the new Korg DS-10 Plus. There's been a lot of great stuff coming out these pass few years. Have you heard about the new Mopho and Tetra Analog Synths from Dave Smith Instruments? Great sound!

Yes.., I have seen those new models. I'm curious what the price drops on the current MoPho will be down to. I'm so ready to dump my Novation Xio-25. Darn thing is essentially brand new with less than 10 hrs of play time too. I've got three synths right now and the Xio ain't doin it for me. I've been very tempted to sell it off and buy a MoPho and midi it up to one of my synths.
