That's a great video, well done. Water Dragons are very docile, shy, and non agressive. They are great swimmers as you can see and eat vegetables and meat mainly. The males have a red patch on their bellies and the femals have no red patch at all. They make wonderful pets and can live up to 25 years. They are wonderful animals. Thanks for posting!

Yes, the chlorine isn't especially good for him, but he's a semi aquatic animal, he jumped in the pool because that's how they excape & evade predators in the wild, & he's fine. He's NOT drowning, he's hiding from what he perceives as a predator. That's all. That reptile could have gotten out, he could have climed out on that chord in the pool. But that's not a water dragon, But I don't know what it is.

This looks to appear as a Chinese Water Dragon or a Bearded Dragon. A Chinese Water Dragon can stay under water for 20 min. That is one of its ways to defense. There are not cheap i have a Chinese Water Dragon and i paid $50 for mine.
