@lufthansafan100 A 777 stalling any amount with passengers on board is a big deal especially if its on final. I would bet your plane probably just encountered a strong gust and had a temporary drop due to some temporarily reduced lift. Just curious though, how do u know it was a stall, and did you hear this from the pilots themselves?

@lufthansafan100 i do not believe it stalled... approach speed is pretty much higher than the limit begins and it is possible for the plane to stall... i think you just expirienced a moderate windshear or some gusty winds...

the wind coming into the plane at 00:03 and at 00:41 was there a little stall ?

@florentlondon that was a fairly violent cross wind that threw the plane upward. Later on, when you hear people yelp the plane was hit by wind and felt like a bus braking hard and went up then went down quite violently. I guess that may have been windshear.

@hugbunny SCARY ON MY FLIGHT BACK TO LONDON FROM BUDAPEST CONNECTING FLIGHT TO THE WEATHER DIDNT LOOK SO GOOD WE TOOK OFF THE LIGHTS TURNED OFF AND THE PLANE HIT WIND JUST LIKE FLYIN INTO A TORNADO THEN WE STALLED FEW METRES ON FINAL WE HAD A REALLY WINDY LANDING JUST LIKE THE VIDEO OF THE GERMAN LUFTANSA PLANE LANDING IN I THINK HAMBURG :)

@hugbunny Also it looks quite hilly, so it the wind is strong then it's going to make a lot of turbulent air around that area.

This is a normal landing at Dubrovnik, you should come along with us when it get's really heavy ;)

Because it was a scary landing and we were glad it actually landed safely. If you listen carefully, you will hear someone call out "We're alive!". The reason why someone yelped was because the plane was hit by a gust of wind that threw the plane up then down quite violently.

@hugbunny ????? BA only has had 737-300/400/500 in its fleet, currenly only some veeeerrrryyyy ooooollllld B737-400s. They did not have any 736.

@FrisoLustig. Yes, I think we established the 600 bit was wrong, it was supposed to be 400 and a 736 doesn't exist at all, I know for sure it wasn't thunderbird 2
