@MerdogProductions Wow didn't know that King Herod was into Carols about that baby that hadn't been taken away by the , Youngest born thingy!!!!! Sorry love this tune and dont think that Herod was a Simon COWELL
sorry they sound like crap.. theres a definate pause no flow to the song its very stacatto sounds like spiritual music set to a sailors song. just my interpretation.
I will have to admit that the singing is heavenly. As to the gifts that the three kings gave to the little infant, what on Earth was that baby going to do with gold, frankinsense and manure?
Rosemary....Totally awesome my sweet friend....I have to tell you I have this song for X-MAS in my phone as a caller tune....SMILES....LOVE when you send me videos....Thanks for sharing.
@LilDumar We three kings of orient are, travelling in circles as we follow a star, was Jesus born in Bethlehem or Nazareth? the Bible isn't sure. How did John the Baptist need a Holy Spirit dove to identify Jesus (John 1v33) if Jesus was his cousin (Luke 1v36 & luke1v43, did Elizabeth forget to tell her son John about Mary's son? Why did a star lead the wise men to Herod, surely that was a bit silly. For top analysis of the Bible try Robert M Price & Kenneth Humphreys, John W. Loftus
@zytigon Jesus was born in Bethlehem as Matthew and Luke. Bible is sure about it. About the star leading the wise men, it definitely led them to Bethlehem (not to Herod), there is nothing strange that they went to the main leader of that little village as they supposed that king would be the first one to notice the magnificent event. So not at all silly. John the Baptist was a human being and he even doubted about Jesus being the Messiah when he was in prison, so it perfectly matches.
@SendaAngosta Matt 2v1 says the Magi first went to Jerusalem & met Herod there. There is a Youtube video suggesting the star was a conjunction between Jupiter & Venus in 7BC. However why didn't they name it as that since those planets were identified by Babylonian astronomers. Probably the text intends that the Magi saw a star & somehow were made to think it meant a baby Jewish King was born so they headed for the capital. Why would they need a star when there was a road to Bethlehem ?
Incredible, I feel as if I've wasted more than I can bear of my life when it could have been spent learning to sing like this or developing another talent. Incredible.
I really like the first soloist, wonderful quality voice, and the third soloist is also right after the first one. The second one is very good too, but I don't like him quite as much as the other two.

@miamianz They are singing for an acoustic where the sounds would run together if it was more legato.

I like this sung quickly here. In the U.S.A. most churches sing this very slowly.

The second soloist already has a professional sound...a future evangelist perhaps?
Eurofrank1 2 years ago 25
@Eurofrank1 That would be Edward Ballard. Shouldn't think so, he's a baritone...
Brideshead09 1 year ago
@Eurofrank1 I would think those who sing in this choir are already professionals.

@pvollman not really - they´re full-time students at Cambridge University. The men do gigs on the side, but they´re not real professionals.
