Hey, I know this video is from over two years ago but I was wondering if maybe I could ask you a few questions about my current restoration project I'm doing. Its a slide in truck camper. Hopefully you read this
I remember these winds growing up in Ontario. My brothers & I would jump up one at a time to see how far it would blow us. If we went too far we would run and catch each other. We thought it was great fun then. We would not do this when the wind was over 70 MPH, as that would be terminal!
It's so great to have you working on the Deville again. I will be working on my ceiling in the near future too. So I'll just watch you, then use your tips 'n how to's. Keep goin'.
I lived in a trailer park a few years back and 1 Sunday as I was nappin on the couch a lady from across the street beat on my door and said her roof was blowin off. I looked and the wind had takin half the roof and folded it over, this was a 14x72 Clayton. Insulation was blowin all over the place. There wasn't anything I could do, later her hubby and a friend got it back over and was sittin on the edge, a big gust came up and catapulted them into the next mobile. 1 broken pelvis 1 leg broke.
Hey I like that nic name! You should use it more...
Got the top off and working on replacing the paneling in the ceiling now... I have video, just haven't taken the time to edit it yet. Of course WORK called me in today... DANG IT ALL! but I need the money... Who doesn't?
Haha! A good imagination is always a plus. Need something to hold that panel in place while the glue sets? Well... If I stretch real hard, I can grab that propane tank. Perfect!
Sounds like IF you'd pulled the top off, it would've gotten blown into the next county. 70 mph gusts... Wow! We get such crap here during tropical storms.

There was also neck braces for all and broken collar bones but the brown shirts at YT only give me 500 characters.
