For those who need to know so badly... the singer of this theme is Noam Kaniel, is a singer and composer, who has sold over 8 million records. The song was written by two composers named Shuki Levy & Haim Saban.
@TheMekon Well at least I no longer feel weird for having inappropriate thoughts about Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy from Batman: The Animated Series because they weren't cats.
There were actually three versions of the opening song and video. This was the most common one, with Heathcliff AND Cats & Company. The lesser seen one was for episodes that had Heathcliff only, and the opening theme and video were changed appropriately. The very rare opening was for an episode that featured ONLY Cats & Company. I only saw it once.
Thank you I never forgot this cartoon. I always mention it and people are like what are u talking about glad to see you post it. I always perfered this cartoon over that fat orange thing.
I don't even remember watching this show but the theme is awesome.

This theme song's not as good as the theme song for the 1975 version of Tom & Jerry. I have yet to hear a theme song that is.

If this cartoon was made today, the critics would say that this cartoon is too violent and that Mungo would offend the mentally challenged.

@TheMekon You must be talking about Cleo. Rif Raf might've scratched your eyes out if he heard you say that...lol

my dad actually objected to the use of 'terrorize' in the lyrics, apparently completely missing the 'no-one should' @_@
