  • i think he started synthol after in his carreer cause his career was about to end, having had kidney transpalnt from steroid abuse he couldnt use steroid anymore and did something to try to maintain his body in order to make for the leaving...Unfortunatelly this guy now has difficult times!!!Though i think that the word perfection in dictionairy is asocciated with FLEX WHEELER

    Steroids didn't cause his kidney failure, even his doctor confirmed this. He has a rare genetic disorder that even some kids have gotten.

  • y000m0ma, Flex never said he would shoot 24 bottles of synthol in his delts, he said he would put escilene in his delts in a "T" formation. Also Flex was not complianing about his calf implants leaking. He did mention his calves, and he did scrape them...but he never had calves implants. Shawn Ray admitted to making that up...Know your shit.

  • You're spot on - he never came in this sharp again, EVER. I was at this show in Columbus, at this show he showed the best bodybuilding physique I have ever seen on stage. EVER.

    I don't know about pure genetics. I think if you're judging on pure shape and perfect bodybuilding proportions, Flex Wheeler at this show had the most perfectly chiseled physique of all time. Dexter is amazing, and has gotten robbed at too many Olympias to count now, but Flex's physique here is #1 all time.

  • Flex's body eventually gave out from the drug use, as do many of the guys' bodies nowadays, the drug use now is just too harsh. And synthol is just the worst thing of all time - other drugs don't really bother me - but synthol is just plain cheating. I can't stand it. I feel bad for the guys competing nowadays, because there's always someone who will go one step farther, and if you want to stay competitive, you've got to up your drug use, or use synthol to stay with the pack - it's terrible.

  • flex is my favourite bodybuilder of all time and he has amitted to using synthol.he would shoot 24 bottles in his delts on the day of competitions.and in one of his training videos when he is working out his egs he keeps complaining about his calf implant leaking

  • he definately used synthol and admitted it once he retired. u can see it in his bis, delts, and calves.

  • Where is the full routine? I have never seen his full routine from this years arnold would love to see it. This truly is perfection though you really cant get better than that to be honest, mass wise yes but such perfect lines, symmetry and round muscle bellies cannot be beaten by no man when in this condition to.

  • I'm trying to find the full routine. Unfortunately I taped this when I was at the show but seem to have lost it over the years. The latter half of this routine was the best when the music changed.

  • I agree with all the above. I have the magazine coverage from that Contest he was SKINLESS 100% PERFECT! Later that year at the 93 MRO he was 90-95% of that he got 2ND behind YATES! He still should've WON! HE WAS THAT GREAT! I 'd love see more.
