Sorry, but Joe didn't break Michael's rib. He lost his rib when Joe shoved him down. I listened to the phone conversation and at first I to though Joe broke MJ's rib. But since Michael said he lost his rib, stood up and told Joe if he hits him again he wouldn't perform. He was only a child so if Joe broke his rib most likely he would be on the ground in pain. And wouldn't be able to get up and tell Joe he's not performing.
