@360bowhunter Its irrisponsible not to nurture a talent such as this just so that kids can spend/waste their life. Having a 'normal kids life' , eg facebook, smoke pot, throw up at parties is not a better option . I think its good for children to learn a skill. .If a kid doesnt have an aptitude for music, they wont be able to play it. I know kids who practice loads and sound terrible.

I don't get why people always say "it's because she's asian". Asian parents care a lot for their children, that's why they're so strict about things like music and grades. They put pressure on us so we can be successful. Like myself, I'm Asian. My parents get mad if I get an A- or A. They want the grade to be perfect. Sure, you're gonna say "nobody's perfect", but if you strive to be perfect, you're going to succeed. Like come on, it's because Asian parents care A LOT.

Because mostly, asian parents want their children to be successful and be good at a lot of stuff. My orchestra teacher has a 3 year old little asian girl as a student, and she's in French class too. and my Mom is asian, and she's strict about grades and stuff and gets mad at me when I get a B. Thats how asians usually are. also, my chinese violin teacher, doesnt let her kids watch TV on weekdays, she only wants them to study. Also, my friend, who is korean, is forced to be in Kumon.
