  • Parenting WIN!!!

  • OMG WOW !

  • So Good

  • In Korea, when you're born you're automatically counted as 1 year.

I think it is true also in Japan. But I don't know about other Asian countries.

  • @shiragi992 Asian like Malaysia. we count as 0. like she is 4 months old. just like other country.

  • Nice work. Keep it up! :-)

  • my mouth was all open..through out the video.. :O

  • @cberg112 yes she does have a fantastic tone... But instead of keeping her skills the same till she grows up why not just say I hope she will NOT ONLY keep her skills but be even better than she has ever been in the future. I apologize if I misread your comment...

  • Divina!!!! ejemplo a seguir...

  • She may have no nice memmory of childhood but she will have a wonderful future !!! Keeo going on, lil girl !!!

  • perfeito parabéns linda

  • Im from Korea republic and still im not good at violin. I just did grade 5 and i am 12 in korea!

  • How adorable...what makes her even more special is the fact that she obviously and clearly loves to play the violin and is deeply in tune with the music. That is a rare feet for a 7-year-old girl and certainly marks her as different from other prodigies...

  • Dammit cute little 7 year old I'm almost twice ur age and u play 20 times better than I do xD

  • I think is ok to make the kids learn this things instead of let them get fat and stupid with the tv... I'm not asian but I'm doing the same with my son and daughter, and I am proud of their skills and that are not like other kids

  • She makes me want to quit the violin...

  • cberg112 is right! Her tone is awesome!

  • I wanna be so good too

  • wåhnsin_lÊÜtê_sûcht_mâl_ÑÀch:_olikohle_aÙf_g00glé_voll_geÏl

  • She has such fantastic tone! I hope she keeps it up for the rest of her life.

  • wow!

  • One can only hope she grows into feeling and interpretation as she grows up as these are equally important to the mechanics of playing. Pitch is also less than great.

  • this girl is obviously gifted.she had great luck starting to play violin that early-because thats a normal age to learn it.its not wrong...and she's having fun,if she hasn't,she wouldnt be that great...learning violin is sth u need to do from the deepest of your heart, and the earlier u learn an instrument, the better u will be.

  • Aisans are so strict no wonder their so suberb

  • uh hello!! haters. don't blame it all on the asian parents. the little girl is OBVIOUSLY enjoying performing this.

  • she is so adorable!

  • Im totally horrified. Kids at that age should not be put under such a stress factor. What awful parents

  • lucky girl ! little children learn musical instruments very very fast ! if i could go to violin class when i was 5 or 4 now i was teacher! i'm 16 years old and play violin and it is hard to play right ! damn ! i'll kill my parrents !!!!!!!!!

  • lucky girl ! little children learn musical instruments very very fast ! if i could go to violin class when i was 5 or 4 now i was teacher! i'm 16 years old and play violin and it is hard to play right ! damn ! i'll kill my parrents !!!!!!!!!

  • @360bowhunter Its irrisponsible not to nurture a talent such as this just so that kids can spend/waste their life. Having a 'normal kids life' , eg facebook, smoke pot, throw up at parties is not a better option . I think its good for children to learn a skill. .If a kid doesnt have an aptitude for music, they wont be able to play it. I know kids who practice loads and sound terrible.

  • ¬¬

  • this must be C.G.I.

  • GRRR ( no offence ) BUT WHY ARE ASIANS SO GOOD!!!?!?!?!?!? Why Cant there be someone english being as Good as asian people!!!?? : D hee hee! Well done. Xx

  • I'M 28 and all my life is useless .this little one inspired me a lot.i'll achieve some thing in life.

  • very gifted little girl. but it doesnt matter what race you are, you can do anything if you put your mind to it. im nearly 19 and i am not afraid to say i am just now starting to take tap dancing lessons with three year olds and their better than me lol. but its fun and proves that no matter what age you are ether that you can do what you want to make yourself happy.

  • is that really a child?..

    THAT WAS AWESOME! :D

    SHE'S GREAT!

-she's that small but her talent is soooo big! even bigger that her!

  • she not only can play but has mastery of the timing and soul of the melody making it easy to listen to....incredible !

  • I don't get why people always say "it's because she's asian". Asian parents care a lot for their children, that's why they're so strict about things like music and grades. They put pressure on us so we can be successful. Like myself, I'm Asian. My parents get mad if I get an A- or A. They want the grade to be perfect. Sure, you're gonna say "nobody's perfect", but if you strive to be perfect, you're going to succeed. Like come on, it's because Asian parents care A LOT.

  • I love how the melody is played by the little girl

She is very cute with his little violin and so talented.

  • ***** She was 5 or 6 at that time (7 years old in Korean age.. they count different)

and she was NEVER forced to play the violin. She didn't even practice for hours. She was just talented and loving music, that's all. *****

How do I know? I personally know her, her parents, and her violin teacher.

So no more wrong assumptions or impolite comments about her parents, or Asian parents in general, please.

  • @spark928 puro pachon eres pinchie chosto!

  • @spark928 Korean counting system is different? Since when??? (I'm Korean, never heard of something like that Xb)

  • @moonlightmenuett it's referring to the age counting, for example, when the baby's born, the baby's one year old in korea

  • @zizonesol Ohhhhh I thought you meant for example 13 months instead of 12 or something like thar XDDD

  • Outstanding!

  • Wow! Breath taking!

  • Очень понравилось! Молодец!

  • WOW That's one talented little girl!!!!

  • VERY GOOD

  • VERY GOOD

  • FELICIDADES

  • EXELENTE ,MAGNIFICO VA A SER GRANDE ESA PEQUEÑITA FELICIDADES.

  • Asian kids are good at this because their parents teach them to make music with instruments. Americans teach their kids how to turn on the radio.

There are plenty of kids this good in the Ozarks and in the Carolinas where people still grow up making their own music.

  • i wish there was kumon for violin lol

  • soooo cute O_O

  • Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Asian have another education... superior

  • I'm Asian, this girl play from from herself not from grade, She likes to play may be be she's angle falling from heaven!

  • idk. being forced to be good at something v enjoying what you do...

  • BRAVO

  • hehe her violin is so tiny... she looks younger then seven i must say:O but anyways that is just amazing that kids can play like that... she must have been in the crib with a tiny violin :)

  • jesus :|

  • wow

  • Andre Rieu & 3 year old violinist, Akim Camara 2005 please watch it, it'a amazing and fun......it's better than this....

  • Umm, another Korean kid. They are just amazing!!

  • amazing

  • being asian lol there's a lot of pressure to be good at the common instrument like the violin cello or piano its super competetive and it sucks the fun out of everything and if your too competetive no one wants to be your friend thts why i would prefer when i grow up tht my children chose an instrument like the tuba lol

  • Wow shes great! I've been playing for almost 5 years and i still have trouble when it comes to 6th position but she rocked it

  • anyone remember that episode of star trek with that robot girl playing the violin?

  • She is so good!

  • i feel bad for the orchestra. having a little 7 year old up there playing that good

  • she's doing vibrato and she's seven!!!!!even i can't do that i've been learniong ofr three years with mulitple amounts of deaedend practice but i'm not that good! !!!

  • hahaha!!! what do you play?

  • @aznfooly violin flute piano recorder and im learniong guitar why what do u play??

  • @meisuyato03 i play cello but it is easier

  • @aznfooly to play cello?

  • Bravo parents & teacher!

  • wow.i thought she was 3 ..she is small for a 7 year old or maybe i was too tall for a 7 year old lol.i wish that i could play at that age.i started playing when i was 17 and now i'm in my 20's and i'm still a begginer =(.i had a bad experience with my first violin teacher and i stop many times during the years which is why i'm still a begginer

  • holy cow...... she's insanely good! :-O

  • did she seriously start the piece in 3rd position? holy cow...

  • circus

  • i wanna hug her she looks like my little sister =D

  • She's so little!! And talented. So frickin' cute.

  • qué niña tan hermosa y talentosa!!!

  • is this the third mvt of the concerto? i thought Mozart's concerto in D sounded different...

  • P+P

  • O god! I think she's gonna catch up to me when she's only 10 or earlier(I'm 17 now) ==

  • Do you really believe that a little girl like her can express her wish to do only one thing in her childhood : playing the violin ? Do you really think that her family have had no influence on her ?

If you think so, you're an irresponsible person.

Maybe she's not miserable at all, but I guess that's because she has not known anything else in her life.

  • Yes, I do :) call me irresponsible all you want, but I dont think anyone could play with true feeling if they were forced to ^_^

Are you speaking from personal experience? I am :)

  • How can anyone say she doesn't have a childhood? are you her? do you know what she thinks?? what is a 'good standard' of childhood to one person, it's not what it is to another person, we are all different. If this girls is SO good I really doubt she hates playing violin or does not have fun doing it! maybe her dream has always been to be a good violin player rather than to play with a barbie doll (maybe she does that too, who knows).

  • tamanho da concertista srsrsrsrsrs

  • i played this when i was nine but i havent played it in a while cuz i got bored with violin and moved to cello then to bass infact i have only played the bass for a year and i did a bass concerto

  • who cares how many instruments you played !! ... lol... i bet she is better than you are and that is why you bring all these things up... shame on you.

  • doubt it

  • I think she doesn't plays with friends after school. I think she doesn't have friends at all.

  • I totally agree with you ...

Those children are fantastic, AMAZING, though I think they dont have any childhood !

  • holy crap.. :O

  • She's amazing! I played that konzert when I was 11 years old!

  • i wudnt be able to play lik tat when i was tat young, i wudnt even be able to memorise all dat....WOWwowWOWwow!!!

  • yo star its cuz asians r actully pimps at violins we beat ur a ss in it and IM 11 just started ans shes 7 im kinda pissed

  • She is scary good! Wow, playing mozart pretty much perfectly at 7 is unusual. I've been playing for 3 years and still not ready to play Mozart... Dang, this kid is really good!

  • i remember this piece!!! i played this when i was 11 in my school orchestra! dang. she can do it at 7??? i'm so jealous! XD

  • She's better than me!! and i'm 12 and i started last year! Her vibrato is AMAZING!

  • POR DIOS SANTO!!!

  • omg! only learn for 3 yrs n she's dis gd?!

    amazing!

  • not to be racist, but how come all the instrument prodigys are mostly asian?????????

  • Because mostly, asian parents want their children to be successful and be good at a lot of stuff. My orchestra teacher has a 3 year old little asian girl as a student, and she's in French class too. and my Mom is asian, and she's strict about grades and stuff and gets mad at me when I get a B. Thats how asians usually are. also, my chinese violin teacher, doesnt let her kids watch TV on weekdays, she only wants them to study. Also, my friend, who is korean, is forced to be in Kumon.

  • @crazygirl8343 I love asian people cuz if they want to do some thign they do till the end and you have very godo self control btw you have good accent to study. -)

  • @crazygirl8343 my parents are like that too....whats wrong with parents?! Dx

    o and im asian too..

  • @crazygirl8343 I know right. :D My parents are less strict but they still want me to do homework on the weekends and to do well in school too.

  • This is amazing!!! She is very talented!!!

    Greetings from Holland

  • Waaaaaw ! Good Nice ! OO <3 !

  • Her parents must make her practice and do nothing else. To be this good in three years she obviously practiced probably six hours a day.

    Outstanding job!

I am 17 and learning this....... wow.....

  • who is the composer? Thx

  • Mozart

  • i dont believe there are prodigys in this world , just a talent from day one then push it as far as it can get .

  • Brillante interpretación, una niña muy talentosa, felicitaciones.

  • She's incredibly talented!

Prodigies at this age are so limited by the size of their instrument. A full sized instrument makes such a better sound. Of course, they're also limited by the size of their fingers. : ) She's adorable

  • pekeña bella cancion

  • omg that is Adorable♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • She must be 9/10 yrs. old. now. I wonder what she'll be like when she's 18. Another prodigy.

  • aww shes so cute!

  • Linda! Bravo! Continue estudando...

  • wow!! she is awesome !!bravoo braaaavo!!

  • Comment removed

  • Hehehe!!! She is just as tall as the height of the waist of the others at the back.

  • mas linda!

  • She is supa good! i bet the orchestra feels stupid playing behind a 7 year old!

  • Why would the orchestra feel "stupid" playing with such a good musician?

  • T_T

  • wow this is like the fifth asian lil girl playin the violin video....boooooring...

  • Stop complaining about the freakin stereotype your american dont act like american doesent have a stereotype of people being fat dumb and ugly!

  • Lan yok böyle bir şey yaaaa. Keman çalıyorum diye ortalarda dolanan zibidilere kapak olsun:D:D

  • what the fuck is that?her hands are rocks!!!

  • Awesome!!

  • WOW that is one talented little girl!!!

  • wow is all i can sya!!!

  • omfg...its so unbelieveably great!! i hope she keeps playing as she gets older...shell be the master of the violin lol

  • Holly crap !! ...everyone else has sheets !!!

Amazing....I hope her parents let her play and be a child too...

  • they don't, believe me

no one gets this good at violin in 3 years unless they do nothing but practice

...thats the way I was when I was little (I was never even close to in the same ballpark as this girl but I was exremely good for my age) Now I hate violin because I didnt live up to expectations people had for me when I was younger.

  • Or they have natural talent in that field. Like how ppl from a certain place can have no understand of maths, then one day pick up a first grade maths book and see within in formulaes for nearly everything on earth.

  • very true

but I also feel like alot of those kids feel trapped in their talent

of course..some of them love it

  • then why are you still listening to it?

if you hate it that is.

  • If you are still listening to violin, you must not hate it all that much.......? :)

  • esta hermosisiisisisisisisismaaa

  • WhooA!

  • amazing!!!

  • holy crap! she looks 5!! O_O

    still. amazing and cute :DDDD

  • STFU... your an idiot.

  • This is seven year old Shinyoung Park. Seoyoung Park is a different girl. This video was taken in the summer of 2008. I have seen her perform.

  • she is so talented and so adorable

  • Her name should be "Seoyoung Park", NOT "Shinyoung Park".

She is now 12 years old and there are several of her violin playing clips on youtube.

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!

  • ♫ i love music! and shinyoung park is a prodigy! she is so cute and tiny! did you c how small her violin was?
