  • Otherwise i enjoyed the video.

  • Electron wave particles do not exist as a probability but have a more defined nature as a result of their wave like characteristics.

Because a wave can be made to cancel itself or interfere with itself there is then an energy which an electron cannot exist.

As a result of this we have electrons on CERTAIN orbits, if they wish to jump from one SPECIFIC orbit to the next they must gain or lose a certain amount of energy (a wave packet), when they do this it is called a quantum leap.

  • Ok, why do I see so many scientists bickering and arguing over 'theories' which they call a fact but never agree with their facts. oooook.

  • 'purported facts'

  • yes i've studied most science... I just do not understand why they cannot agree if theory is fact.

  • I hope they do not wish to call their theories fact, they should simply state that the theory explains observed phenomena.

Fact exists with or without theories. If a theory explains one thing (quantum mechanics for instance, on the very small) but breaks down and fails to explain at another level (in this case the very large, where Relativity takes over) it would seem there is an inconsistency in either theory for explaining the other.

By discussing with our piers we wish to unify thought.

  • @Puabond It's called a theory, because it's not a fact. It's unproven, therefore, theory

  • i don't get the point of this video but tool ftw!

  • awesome

  • strings theory is v. important

  • i concur! What You See Is What You Get.

  • Does science really expect me to trust an analogy as evidence that a unknown thing is covered in a theory?
