  • Why did they have to discontinue these pedals

  • @MrBassGuitarBoy I've been wondering the same thing, foolish if you ask me...

  • From what I can tell, they don't make these pedals anymore.

  • I wish i had this guy's set up so if u ever want to give it away give me a shout

  • i just bought one of these pedals..... to me it is crap so I am going to sell it asap

    cost me $600

  • @baronsweb well u get mad ripped off u can buy em for like 200$

  • well done mate .....i have many guitars ...and my favorite one is my red special !!!....i also have the brian may digitech pedle ......keep inventing you own stuff matey....it sounds excellent.

  • greeatest!!!!

  • i have a brain may red special guitar, i also have the red special peal, ive tried to mess with the settings but when i hit to many strings at once it rumbles alot and the notes are not audiable apart, not like this is, i also have a vox venue amp. what settings should i have?

  • try to hit one string at a time

  • what aould be the best setting if i wanted to try play the show must go on with my red special guitar and this pedal?

  • Nice. Something different on the RS. The guitar is more versatile then most people think. Check my versions of Brians sound.

  • does the pedal just work for the red special or can it work for an epiphone guitar

  • its a pedal to make your guitar sound like his red special

  • it has settings for humbuckers, singles and p90s, so yeh

  • brian dont use pedal

    ...

  • He uses a Treble Booster, two delays, a tuner, an Harmonizer, Cry Baby (rack version) and a phaser/chorus.

  • hey man, are you using only the digitech pedal? guitar> pedal > amp?

  • how much do does pedals cost ??

  • If you're going to get the Digitech May pedal, you better get cracking..they're no longer made. I really like the Digitech...and Digitech worked extensively with Brian to get it right. Brian was VERY particular about getting it right. (imagine that)

  • No longer made? I just ordered one last week from my local music store (they had none left in stock). Another music store in my area still had some in stock, though more expensive than where I ordered it. Digitech's website still advertises it, and it is still listed on Musician's Friend as "in stock and ready to ship".

  • 5 stars for the originality

  • 5 stars! 'cause you didn't play Brian's solos! ;-)

    Real original.

  • Cheers mate!

  • brian may has a very laid back british sound, he doesnt have a big boost of gain and he mentiond on the article he wanted the pedal to be exact to his sound, i use the pedal on my brian may guitar and brian may vox special amp and the sound is to die for

  • I'll second that

  • Are these Brian May Digitech Pedals, really as good as wot ppl r sayin they r? - coz i bn thinkn on gettin one, and still not done it lol

  • lol, yeah they're pretty good.

Only problem i found from it is the lack of power.

it just doesnt have any boost.

and it sounds very digitally prossesd. which it is.. lol

  • taylormayed i have one it is horible, huge! lack of gain boost and most importint SUSTAIN get a bmg a booster and a ad15vt vox amp way better but the bm pedal could help a little with a bm guitar just a little and if you have the money get a rs classic or kz if you can find a used one hope this helps.

    cheerio

  • i got one its ok but it sucks with the valvetronix amps i sounds better on my ten watt practice amp than my ad50vt there awesome tone if set right took me weeks to get it set juist right tho

  • hi nissan...1st off jst wanna say sorry bout all the shit months ago, bout ur vids, they r good, guess we're just all on ere 2 show wot we can do i guess. I did get the pedal eventually, sounds pretty gd 2 me, altho only settings i ever use is Keep Yourself Alive, We Will Rock You and the Delay
