This boss turns out to be a piece of cake. Killed him first try. It seemed too easy in fact, but I never had a strategy... it just seemed everything went my way.

One of the easier bosses in the GOW games, IMHO.

Scorch - did you say you never completed the first game? I agree its a lot tougher than this, and the final battle with Ares is annoying as hell. It nearly ruins the splendour which is the rest of the game.

you can get that orb inside the temple of fate by rotating that pillar that rings the bells to the left and slowing down time to get it . i don't know if it's on the right as well.

Around 9:35 you know when you spin the lever to hit the bells etc, you can actually use it to get to the platforms on the 'hidden' left and right (when you first come in from the water) there are red chests/ feathers that helped me alot (since I was lagging behind); time the 'spin' so that when it gets near the platform slow time down , R1 to the white thing then you can fly to the 'long part' and then fly to the platform

i was under the impression i was able to put orbs into the blade of olympus during the last battle... i wasnt, but i didnt use many other things other than the Chronos' Rage and the blades anyways
