man, Ponder is one of the best QB's in the nation, he deserves alot more credit than he gets, i remember watchin him come into that VT game in blacksburg when he was just a soph. and he was solid back then bein young comin into a losin situation in a hostile stadium...hes gonna have a tremendous senior year in 2010.

And oh, btw, mat: I'm willing to bet we're both in agreement that Ponder is one of the top three QB prospects in the 2010 Draft.

He's easily one of the most intelligent and overall best (it doesn't hurt that he has a CANNON of an arm, either) in this egregiously weak QB class who is ready to step in like Matthew Stafford and play the week one of the 2010 season. No assembly required.

mat, I ain't (jest fer you) a "hater." I was a big believer in Ponder since a coupla years ago when I first saw him play. He was an amazing college QB; a shame that his attempted (key word, that) ascension at FSU happened to coincide with the decline of the Bowden era.

And yes, FYI, having been a follower of NCAA football for some 25+ years now, I speak fluent Heisman.

On that note, Gerhart got SCREWED. The strongest leak on that young team; they had no chance without him.
