I made those yesterday and we loved them. I used all spice in addition to the cinnamon, omitted the orange juice(allergic) and I used sugar but not a lot and it really was good. I will be making this from now on.

I never liked sweet potatoes until a few years ago...when my friend baked them like reg. baked potatoes and put a bit of butter, cinnamon and HONEY on them (the honey was the trick there) mmmm - but I'll probably try them your way too now yum! :-)
I'm going to have to try this. We love candied sweet potatoes but I kind of shied away from making them because of all the margerine, sugar and syrups but this is a really good looking alternative that I think my family would eat. I've tried baking them like potatoes and sprinkling with cinnamon and a dab of sugar but no one like that but me LOL.

Great recipe, easier than baking. I use oj in mine too, even orange extract in sweet potatoe pie too, yummy yummy! Happy thanksgiving!
