i domt know the whole song yet but i play the intro differently i start with a power chord consisting of an open E an 2nd fret on A and D then move all frets up one including the open so its then a 1st fret E and 3rd fret A and D plus, you missed out a sight sort f solo that goes on during the first part that slides up to a 7th fret on the A string then picked on 6th then 5th then hammering on between the 3rd and 5th frets then second time round replaces it with a power chord of 3rdA and 5thD

@wogify Read an article with Hetfield explaining a cool little trick to make your guitar sound heavier... With the gain jacked up, turn the bass and treble of amp all the way up, but your medium all the way the down... This is what Hetfield and Hammett did on Sad But True to make it sound beefy... Hope this helps :)

Its pretty easy. The 6 horizontal lines on the tabs represent each of the strings, with the Low E being the bottom line and the high E being the top.

The numbers on each line represent what number fret you put your fingers on. If you have multiple numbers stacked on each other, then it's a chord. You just read the tab left-to-right like you would anything else, and take note of the spacing between numbers, because that helps you with the timing a bit.
