I see it like this: healthcare is necessary. Who cares if it isn't your right or not. The point is that if you want to keep this country going, you must take care of your workers, those that keep the wheels turning. Not these corporate entities that haven't lifted a finger except to fire people, except to take more money.
I have a friend that is disabled, but gets too much ssi so he doesn't qualify for medicade, or medicare. He has Diabetes type 2, heart disease, MS, he's had a few strokes, a number of heart attacks, and had a pace maker installed. He recently ended up in the hostpital for 5 days and got an enormous bills. Because he doesnt qualify for medicade, or medicare he has to travel 20 miles south to reservation to get healthcare. This is a travesty to be disabled and be put through that.
Don't need healthcare? I developed Gout at 21 it affected my joints and my kidneys this required a doctor, a urologist, a rhumatoligist, a sports physician, and a few hostpital stays and some medication. Even with insurance I treaded water for years until I finally went bankrupt. I have insurance and my new meds (Uloric) is the only medication that has worked and it costs me $143/ month. Nobody is invencible.
NOT ALL AMERICAN NEED or WANT HEALTH CARE..... so WHY SHOULD THEY PAY FOR IT??? Think about thee ages from 18- 30. theyy do not need health care. WHY? because they are healthy. human dont start to brake down until the mid 50s.
thank you, dennis, for representing! a lot of us need to hear these words of encouragement and truth and keep on plugging for the health and recovery of our nation. we've got to get the representation by highest buyer system outta the way of life and death matters like our public health!
America has already been sold, we will never be what we wished we could be. Are we going to begin buying our companies back ? We out sourced our job force how do you suppose we will get those jobs back? I remember these things being said back in the late 60's and 70's. Look around every parade, artist, sports figure is owned by some huge corporation. Our music is being sponsored by companies like Pepsi. I think that people lost sight of USA, and worried more about which phone plan to get.
We need more people like this one... I guess we didn't vote enough in... Guess if we don't get it this time, we will have to do it next time (but keep fighting for it this time.)
