  • She's full of it!

  • I'm applying today for my last of two benefit payments, my tax refund allotted for next month's rent. I've been a Dislocated Worker for the full recession and I need to keep a roof over my head, the extensions need to be dealt with swiftly for those still job searching, it's such a difficult task and the money pays my bills, so I don't have to stress over that end of things

  • Big companies are taking over the names of small business! Good grief! I was a sales manager and accountant at Blockbuster. I knew it was bound to happen. Super companies like the online video stores, iTunes, (etc.) are crushing small businesses or the local rental place. :( I always wanted to work at any office of any business (motivator), but because the major companies have a bigger reputation, it's the reason why in the county I live in is increasing the numbers of jobless people.. :(

  • Well, not all small businesses but in general, large industries won't allow me or my fellow college friends to work there (even though we both have great amount of skills/attributes) because they're "freezing" the number of people working there. I did applied to Boeing and other large corporations, but in the end, "oh sorry, economic slowdown; we'll be able to look back at your resume once it picks up". My! I know I speak for a lot of people. Small businesses needs to have the same voice (pt2/3)

  • as big companies so we can all have the chance to work what our effort reflects! People choose to have jobs to support a living and provide for their everyday needs! Large businesses are clogging up all the work positions available for all who need it!

  • @iLuvKats89 Brick and mortar video rental shops are closing here where I live, I don't want an ALL ON LINE model for business. I also work manual labor, which is out-sourced, it's VERY hard getting back to work in Light Industrial and Assembly where I was working blue collar

  • The news is a joke, "numbers show jobs are growing" and i see the unemployment office fll to capacity. "there is job growth out there" somebody shoot this dumb whore... americans ain't little babys, i know for a fact tons of people ain't getting jobs in the next few years, either another bailout for the unemployed... or shoot everyone in the white house please...

  • @12GaugeLosAngeles They blame people for just getting unemployment and not job searching, but for one period you were required to show new job prospects when applying, that could be implemented I'd say

  • my buddy is on unemployment for 55 weeks and he can still collect it at his new job because its out of state and it pays him less than what his old job payed.

  • unemployment number down, yet we shed more jobs?

I think they got these liberals actually believing them. That's the sad mother fucking part of it.

  • Time to get off the grid people.

The jobs are gone forever it's now a domino effect.

If you are not on a government dole expect the worst.

    Buy seeds.

  • My God! WHAT A BIG FAT DISGUSTING COW SHE IS. Oink! Oink!

  • @WinterHaven The fact that you wrote that says a lot about you.

  • MrFreedomdemocracy

obama and the democrats will not want to lower the cost of Education because the Teachers are All Union Members.

The Teachers Just received a 6.5% Pay increase. starting salary for a teacher is $48,000.00 with Full Benefits.

  • They are laying off teachers in Indiana.

  • she told by the government what to tell the american

  • obama

    the Economy is getting Better,

WHERE I Like to Move their.

  • We need Washington to stop giving themselves handouts in the legislation they pass and force themselves to live like we do.

  • Romer,

this is the first time I've seen you show signs of intelligence. Until unemployment really turns around, that is there are real jobs to be had, continue to stay away from the happy pills. Stay with the reality. It's honest and what the american peolple deserve.

  • It Is Now Mathematically Impossible To Pay Off The U.S. National Debt

  • cazyblood3

I don't even know where to start with you.

1 - Bush left us with a stage 4 cancer economy dying. Option 1 - give the patient pills waiting for inflation in 2025. Option 2-call a surgeon and operate immediately investing immediately.

2 - The mammoth was stuck in the mud and you either let it become extinct or you had to intervene moving the 4 legs (social services, infrastructure, energy and financial institution).

  • cazyblood3

3 - This crisis highlighted something nobody wants to talk about. Many American jobs are obsolete, because education level is low and the Aerican ingenuity has been killed. So actually the positive side of the crisis is that it forces Americans to investigate new areas of business.

4 - Denmark 10 years ago was 100% dependent on foreign oil, they ionvested in education, increased taxes on emissions, invested in infrastructure creating jobs. Today they are #1 in wind and solar and in 2011 all their cars will be electric and they area also the happiest country in the world.

5 - We passed through a tsunami and we are still cehcking debris after the storm9.7% today means 20,000 job losses in obsolete jobs and 450,000 new jobs in retail and the car industry

  • cazyblood3

6 - In January 2009 (people have short memory) the economists clerlly said that doing nothing will bring to a $8trillion deficit, 1/3 of the worldwide population without job with the fall of AIG, and the end of the small businees which is the backbone of America. Furthermore they all said that the recover if we intervened would have started in mid-end 2011 and explode in 2013. I am actually surprised the market is reacting positively and quicker than expected.

  • The (bought and paid for) economists said it and YOU believed it.

You should hear the opinion of economists that aren't on the govt payroll for accurate info.

  • cazyblood3

7 - Obama will recover any money he invested in the next years. What he will not recovery is the $1.3 Trillion deficit created by Bush because that money is lost forever.

8 - The money they got back from banks and car industry MUST be reinvested. This are the basics of capitalism to create jobs and increase creativity. The GOP is on the side of the big banks and refuses to give $30B to the community banks, which are healthy and not in debt, to lend money to small business.

9 - American are like spoiled kids. They like to listen only what it's convenient for them to listen and not the reality even if sucks. Onama is doing what Ameriva needs and not what America wants. It's spending a lot of personal capital not to please the spoiled kid .... but Americans will never grow up and recognize their mistakes.

  • Yeah, we NEED to give our hard-earned money to banks.

    WTF are you talking about?

  • cazyblood3

10 - Health Care and education. Americans spend time talking about taxes that don't increase and passively accept 138% increase in premiums, loans and credit card debt which brings to 85% of their salary to be robbed by the private sector for NO services and work 2-3 jobs

In education loans costs are so high that the offer of doctors, nurses, teachers, etc. is lower than the demand. Most of the doctors are now Indians. 1/2 of the Texas districts have no teachers, nurses, doctors

  • ob=0 2010 / 2012 = No ob . Lets spend more of the taxpayers money say 2.5 million on a super bowl commercial .And will ob go to superbowl on our dime . Where is barry from dc ? TPOS

  • What a bitch.

  • it wont be long now...
