of course it is not pulling away from the edges anymore... you pressed it back in there with your finger... as you can see throughout the video: the spray and the cream did not mix. you could swirl your finger in therefor days and it still would not mix since that creme is silicone based....
max fix+ is a setting spray... wont it dry up the cream more? idk maybe its just easier to put glycerin based medium on it to put the moisture and lock it in... or maybe fix+ does work.. :D
@PinkSnob23 The tip should work for all cream shadows. But just to be sure, take a small big of the dried up cream shadow and try it out. Don't want you to ruin your entire cream shadow if it doesn't work. Good luck!!
@skarvika Hi!! They would work but you just have to be really careful of how much you put in. Also, the addition of any ingredients will dilute the formula a bit so it won't be as long lasting, but it was be definitely easier to work with and creamier.
I've used coconut oil in my gel liner...was so dry..it came that way...I'm still wondering why they call it a "gel liner" to begin with...its not gel like at all...and it's so dry..u can hardly dip a brush in it...I was never using it..So i added extra virgin coconut oil to it...Not sure if that's the best method..but at least i use it now..Just have to be careful not to add to much...Coconut oil has an amazing shelf life..which is what made me think of it-no different then any oil really..
@stevoulina69 I don't think water would give the same effect since it would eventually dry up as it doesn't contain any emollient ingredients like Fix+.
@stevoulina69 enkoremakeup has a video on making home made setting spray with store-bough glycerin, and he mentions that it's basically the same thing as mac's fix+. i think it's one of his older videos, but it's really helpful. hope this helps!
@stevoulina69 The only thing with Koren's method is that it involves a lot of steps and is very costly to buy those ingredients. It's easier to get fix plus. But I think an alternative solution is to take the tiniest amount of glycerin (which you can buy from the drugstore) and mix it into the cream shadow. But start off with the smallest amount.
@MissCocoChic to fix dried out polish, just buy a nail polish solvent. a drop or two would fix it. you can buy one at your local beauty supplies, e-tailers, and ebay!
my cream shadow is new and it is completely pulles away from the edges! what does this mean? helppp

You can try warming it up by placing the jar in a mug of hot water. That will soften it up and it will make the product easier to mix with the Fix+.
