The hypocrisy here is laughable.
You guys are all upset with this and yet you have the audacity to compare Bush to one of the worst mass murders that ever lived.
Did you know the Nazi's had more in common with the left in this country. As a matter of fact the Nazi party was called the National Socialist German Workers' Party. Hitler wanted everything to be a part of the state and felt that government was the answer to all problems (sound familar?)
Maybe you should research your comparisons before throwing them out there first. That way you won't look like you're ignorant.
Hmm. A sign that Mitt isn't responsible for, that doesn't directly compare Osama to Obama, and it's a "gotcha?" Riiiiight. What's their position on getting al-Qaeda and that terrible man Osama they're all so "upset" about? Oh, yeah, surrender and bring the troops home. What a bunch of hypocrits and whiners the left is.
The left always takes the victims stance. They can call our president the "terrorist in chief" and compare him to Hitler but let someone hold up a funny sign and they're offended, victimized. The Democrats-party of victims. Boo freakin hoo!
You're right, you've captured the left's hypocricy exactly. They call people names, accuse them of being fascist, all the while using the very fascist tactics they claim the other side is using & cry victim when called on it.
The Left's Hypocrisy? Are you insane? It's quite amazing to me that conservatism has become almost like a religion to people. The blatant disregard of corruption, the continual acceptance of lies; it's as if some one was attacking your faith, your God.
What regular folks in the street say is a little different from what a candidate for president says. This isn't about the amorphous "left" or "right" - this is about a specific individual: Mitt Romney. What Democratic candidate has held up a sign comparing Bush to Hitler?
Saint Cindy Sheehan, Candidate for congress, and congressman Keith Ellison, are but two who have called Bush a terrorist and compared him to Hitler. Senator Dick Turbin Durbin compared our troops to Nazis. The sign that Romney held up was written by a Romney fan. The fan is saying she would never vote for Osama, Obama, or Chelsea's mama.
Are either of those listed running for POTUS? No. Romney sells himself as a "a man of morals" who will clean up the "cesspool" that our nation has become, for the children's sake.
He didn't just pose with it - he held up the sign. He either has poor judgment, or will cravenly shelve his principles to whore himself to a potential voter, or he actually endorses the sentiments.
There there, now now. Don't cry. Mommy Clinton, Daddy Obama, and Nanny Edwards will make everything better for all you victims. It must be soo hard being without joy.
Hi. Mr. Romney didn't say anything. The sign didn't compare Obama to Osama. It said "No to Osama, Obama and Chelsey's Moma." Mr. Romney said to the doofus with the question that he doesn't read all the signs. Thanks.
Exactly. This is only about Mitt Romney because it serves your lefty politics. Keith Ellison compared Bush to Hitler by saying 9/11 was like the Reichstag fire and yet not a peep out of the left. Romney poses for a photo with a supporter who has such sign and you're all up in arms. Selective outrage = hypocrisy. He didn't even directly make the comparison. You make the link indirectly just because he's in the pic with the sign.
He does hold it up because the supporter probably asked him to and that's what you do when you campaign. We don't know if he read it or not. Rather then giving him the benefit of the doubt, you jump the conclusion that he read the sign, completely agrees with everything on it, and holds it up signifying his agreement. You do this because you want to find any thing you can to hurt Mitt Romney's reputation, smear his character, and destroy his campaign.
Wow, why stop there? Why not lob the "you want the terrorist to win" accusation my way too? I do not wish to "smear," defame, or "destroy" Gov. Romney, I just feel he should be held accountable for his actions, more so when his goal is to become POTUS and he, not his supporters, claims to be man who will save our children from our corrupt society. But I'm the hypocrite.
So you're outraged as much by Romney as you are by Ellison? Romney held up the sign, which, as far as I'm concerned, constitutes endorsement. I assume, by your comments, that at least your outrage isn't ideologically selective.
"Pay better attention next time" might be better directed to Romney. If someone handed him a sign that said, "Kick me, I'm a fucktard," it sounds like he'd hold up that as well. He's either irreedemably stupid or a liar.
Did you know that John Kerry and Bill Clinton hold stock in the Carlyle Group also? As a matter of fact, I believe Kerry is huge stockholder in that company. One fo those two is. They are homies.
Yeh Romney you can have those voters, they cant even spell mama right, and they did it twice!
Actually Romney had the best chance against Obama I think.

Are either of those listed running for POTUS? No. Romney sells himself as a "a man of morals" who will clean up the "cesspool" that our nation has become, for the children's sake.
Cockasaur 4 years ago
Romney didn't SAY anything. He posed with a fan who wrote a funny sign. I know it's too much to ask a lefty, but stop playing victim and LIGHTEN UP!
MelesioUlibari 4 years ago
He didn't just pose with it - he held up the sign. He either has poor judgment, or will cravenly shelve his principles to whore himself to a potential voter, or he actually endorses the sentiments.

There there, now now. Don't cry. Mommy Clinton, Daddy Obama, and Nanny Edwards will make everything better for all you victims. It must be soo hard being without joy.
MelesioUlibari 4 years ago
You didn't actually respond. What a shock.

It must be hard seeing where you are going with your head up your ass
gmfutube 4 years ago
If they said those things, I repudiate them as well. Will you do the same of Romney? Or is it you whose outrage is selective?
fishhead06 4 years ago
Hi. Mr. Romney didn't say anything. The sign didn't compare Obama to Osama. It said "No to Osama, Obama and Chelsey's Moma." Mr. Romney said to the doofus with the question that he doesn't read all the signs. Thanks.
alteredbeat 4 years ago
I wasn't aware that Osama was a Democratic candidate. How obtuse can you get.
fishhead06 4 years ago
Yeah he is. Just elect anyone with a (D) next to their name.
alteredbeat 4 years ago
You make the link indirectly just because he's in the pic with the sign.
alteredbeat 4 years ago
To "alteredbeat": He holds the sign up, for all to see. Good guy, no really.
The Ellison comparison garnered national attention, as it should have.
Cockasaur 4 years ago
He does hold it up because the supporter probably asked him to and that's what you do when you campaign. We don't know if he read it or not. Rather then giving him the benefit of the doubt, you jump the conclusion that he read the sign, completely agrees with everything on it, and holds it up signifying his agreement. You do this because you want to find any thing you can to hurt Mitt Romney's reputation, smear his character, and destroy his campaign.
alteredbeat 4 years ago
"Destroy his campaign."
Cockasaur 4 years ago
Nothing on buckeye state blog about Keith Ellison's comment, hypocrite.
alteredbeat 4 years ago
So you're outraged as much by Romney as you are by Ellison? Romney held up the sign, which, as far as I'm concerned, constitutes endorsement. I assume, by your comments, that at least your outrage isn't ideologically selective.

mitt didn't even answer the question... wow, he's a sure a winner....
billionbucks 4 years ago
Actually he did answer the question genius. He said he doesn't read all the signs people give him. Pay better attention next time
alteredbeat 4 years ago
"Pay better attention next time" might be better directed to Romney. If someone handed him a sign that said, "Kick me, I'm a fucktard," it sounds like he'd hold up that as well. He's either irreedemably stupid or a liar.
fishhead06 4 years ago
Yeah maybe he should've paid better attention. Good point. Doesn't make him irredeemably stupid. Nice try though.

If a man doesn't know what is right in front of him, he has no right being president

Thanks for putting the subtitles up. The audio sucks. I do compare Bush to bin Laden. They are homies. Carlyle Group.
seapoidog 4 years ago
Did you know that John Kerry and Bill Clinton hold stock in the Carlyle Group also? As a matter of fact, I believe Kerry is huge stockholder in that company. One fo those two is. They are homies.
pcoop11704 4 years ago
No. Thanks for telling me. I am trying to get all the information I can as fast as I can on these corrupt bastards. I am voting for Ron Paul.
seapoidog 4 years ago
and that is why the media is pushing Hillary!
Grave, Paul & Kucinich are the ONLY 3 honest candidates!
gmfutube 4 years ago
Mitt's lack diligence is a concern. He should pay more attention to signs. And finally, his response was horrible and flip.
